A loud knock woke Emily. She slowly pulled hereself up taking in her surrounding, she was laying in a room she had never seen before. Her eyes traveled to the door and quickly found Marcus'. "Marcus?" She questioned. "Yeah, Max brought you back here after school. She said you were pretty out of it." He explained to her. "Oh..." She said mostly to herself.

"She went over to you house a little bit ago." He added. Emily sighed and pulled herself out of the bed. "Good bye Marcus." She climbed out the girls window, assuming her parents didnt know she was there.

When she got home she saw Georgia and Max dressing up Ginny.

"These extensions are great." Georgia cheered. "You look beautiful." Max added. Ginny rolled her eyes. "You both are really ruining this for me." Emily glared at her, how could she act so ungreatful all the time? But her attention caught the pretty brunette fantasizing over a closet. "This is some real Judy Blume shit.  I want my ashes scattered in the closet."

Georgia began stripping off her clothes as she spoke to Ginny. Emily couldnt help the slight giggle as Max held her eyes locked on the older woman's body. "I like you." She muttered. "See, she likes me." Georgia cheered. Max's eyes snapped up from the woman and she blushed deeply. "Tell me about this Hunter kid." Georgia told Max. "Oh, yeah, I've known Hunter my whole life. Seventh grade is when he got hot, but he's still super nice, so everyone loves him. And he's, like, super smart. He's in our AP English class, where he saw Ginny's epic takedown."

Emily smiled as the girl ranted on. "It was awesome. Mr. Gitten was like, "You won't be able to keep up in this class," and then Ginny was like, "You're racist!" It was awesome."

" He said you couldn't keep up?" Georgia asked, a threat beung the only thing she took from the girls long explanation. "It wasn't a big deal. Please, just don't do anything. I can handle it." Ginny cut in knowing how her mother was. "Fine."

Ginny scoffed looking to her mom. "You're wearing that
to a school board meeting?" Emily rolled her eyes. "Yeah."

Emily went to her own room. "Pumpkin you home?" Georgia called when Ginny left. Emily mumbled a yeah from her bed.

"You know last night, I didn't mean it." Georgia said walking in. Emily turned her head, ignoring the tears that filled her already raw eyes. "You mean that you didn't mean for me to hear it." Georgia sat next to her. "Baby I was just fightin' with Ginny, you know how she can be. I just, I just didnt want her to feel bad." She placed her hand on Emily. The blonde shrugged away her hand. "Well you made me feel bad."

Georgia frowned at the girl. "I'm trying here Emily." Emily scoffed wiping her tears. "Are you really? At this point I dont see it, maybe I should've gone with my real mom." Georgia but her lip staring at her.

"Are you drinking again?" She asked sternly. Emily let out a shakey breath. "No, Georgia, I'm not." Her eyes glanced at the door where she saw Max hiding. "Just let me sleep." She mumbled laying down. Georgia sighed standing up. "I love you Em, let me know when you see." She muttered before closing her oldests door.

Emily didnt leave her room the rest of that night.

"Hey Em." Ginny whispered walking in the morning. "Hi." Emily said shortly, her voice scratchy. "I'm sorry about the last few days I've been a dick." She apologized. "Yeah you have." Emily muttered.

Ginny shut the door going fully into her room. "Okay, I need to tell you something." Emily srunched her face. "Me?" Ginny nodded. "I cant tell anyone else." Emily gestured for her to continue. "I slept with Marcus last night." Emily gasped. "What?" Ginny paused. "Dude you lost your v-card to your new best friends brother? Does she know?"

"No, and she isnt gonna find out." Ginny said in an attempt to threaten the odler girl. "Calm down, you know I dont get involved with your drama."

Ginny rolled her eyes. "Whatever, wanna take me to school?" Emily sighed. "I guess I could do some charity work." She chuckled.

The girls walked into school together. Ginny froze when she saw Marcus with Padma, he 'girlfriend'. Emily eyes the two before looking to her step-sister. "You gonna do something about it?" Ginny looked up to her before she nodded. Emily stayed at her side as Ginny walked to the couple. "Hey, Padma right?" Emily asked. The girl nodded. "I think there's something you should know." Ginny said, making eye contact with Marcus. He looked between the sisters in fear. "There's something on your shirt." She said after they waited in a tense silence.

Marcus sighed in relief before watching as they girls walked away. "That was amazing." Emily said, trying to hide her sarcasm when she saw the look on his face. It was hard to hold back the laugh. But even though Ginny miserably failed, it was nice that they were getting along.

Okay, so totally new aspect with Emily and Ginny kind of getting along. Do you prefer them like this or is it better when they fight?

I kind of like the tension but I wanted to see what everyone thought.
