I kicked a stone across the ground. An elderly couple waved at me from across the street. I didn’t want to wave back at them, but I waved out of fear of what they would think of me if I didn’t.

When my mom complains about the amount of time I spend playing video games, I tell her: “At least we don’t sit in front of the T.V. and do nothing”. We have to think about the decisions we make, rather than watch other’s make decisions on a screen.

Everyone thinks the way they grew up was right. They look back on their childhood, and think they had so much fun. They may not have had any more fun than we do, but fool themselves into believing so.
