I AM A KILLER : CHAPTER 27 ♦ (SPOILER TITLE)

Qin Ke Xuan picked up the Ke Ke at her side and placed it outside the window, and then she too crawled out, her sharp eyes mindful of any of the possible ambush locations. After ensuring the area's safe, she waved for Yin Xu Dong to climb up.

Yin Xu Dong popped out from inside, panting all the while, and even got his butt stuck halfway through, unable to come out, and had to actually be dragged out by Qin Ke Xuan.

At that time, a bunch of people donned in black ran this way, making a ruckus: "They've climbed out through the window! Heck it, finish them!"

Qin Ke Xuan grabbed the little dog on the ground and threw it into Yin Xu Dong's arms, then hauled him along by his hand, running in the opposite direction the bunch of people in black went.

If there wasn't a Yin Xu Dong around, she'd had used her Qing Gong and disappeared long ago. Yin Xu Dong's speed obviously cannot compare up to the bunch of people who were involved in the underworld, and he just had to bring along another troublesome dog. Slowly, the distance between them and their chasers drew close. She knew that if she were to abandon Yin Xu Dong, he would definitely be captured and die.

After turning the corner, Qin Ke Xuan speedily sent a push at Yin Xu Dong behind the several rubbish bins. "You hide here and don't come out!" Having said that, she rounded the corner, rushed into the bunch of people in black and starting fighting the burly bunch of men armed with long knives, completely unarmed.

The fact that these people had no guns on them had Qin Ke Xuan largely felt assured. It looked like these people were the lowest rung of hired thugs, no wonder they didn't guard the air vent window. Anyone with a slight bit of intellect would know to block off all possible escape routes.

There were quite a number of people in black. They speedily cut off the two ends of the alley and trapped her in the middle. The bunch of burly men didn't give two shits about the fact that they were only facing a little girl and brandished their knives to hack at Qin Ke Xuan mercilessly. 

Qin Ke Xuan pulled over another person's arm whose hand had been grasping a knife and used it to block the knife that had been hacking in her direction. Then with a backward flip of her hand, one hand against the back of the person she'd had grabbed just now, she lifted herself up, using her arm as the pivot and kicked both her legs at the people in black that had surrounded her in all directions. A turn of her wrist, Qin Ke Xuan dropped back down on the ground, and at the same time, another person in black sent a horizontal sweep of his large knife at her at an incredibly fast speed.

Just as Qin Ke Xuan wanted to bend to evade the knife, she caught a glimpse of a shadow that rushed out of the dustbin area towards her, as though trying to block himself in front of her. Before she had any time to think about cursing at him in rage, she stretched her hand to pull at the back of the collar, and they fell backwards. As she fell, she raised her leg, kicking the knife in the black-clothed person's hand away.

All these actions were accomplished in a very short time. It was such a dangerous situation they were under. If it hadn't been her pulling Yin Xu Dong that idiot away, he would have been long chopped into two pieces. Qin Ke Xuan pulled the Yin Xu Dong who'd collapsed on her aside in fury. "Didn't I say not to come out?! Are you seeking death!"

Before Yin Xu Dong could even retort, Qin Ke Xuan hugged him and the two of them rolled on the ground. At the same time, four to five knives slammed down at the place where they had been lying just moments ago. They rolled over to the foot of a wall. Qin Ke Xuan leapt up, taking the opportunity to pick up a fallen knife with her foot and grasped it in her hand. A wave of her hand, she blocked the edge of a knife that had thereupon waved in her direction. Her hand, as though a knife, landed on that person's hand, snatching over his sword and sent the black-clothed person flying with a kick. She then threw the knife to the Yin Xu Dong behind her, "Take it if you don't want to die."
