Nothing lasts forever. That's what the girl learned that day. She thought they'd be beside her forever. She thought she'd be ready for their death. Man, how was she wrong. Fear and loneliness filled the holes in her heart as she failed to grab her friend from falling into an old, bearded Titan that had been chasing them, dragging it away from the higher-ups whilst they scouted the grounds of the Big Forest.
[Name] clutched her heart as she watched Anadil, her white-haired friend, smiled at her. She mouthed 3 words that inked on her poor mind.
'Live for me.'
Fear and loneliness melted away, replaced with anger and hatred. The [h/c]ette threw one whole blade to its right eye, causing it to whimper and lower its defence. [Name] took advantage and swung around the Titan. She drew her blade and sliced the nape, a bit too shallow as she should be slicing it.
Out of all people, she was the one that died, she thought. Should've let her stay at home instead of killing Titans all day long.
Yellow smoke painted the sky, a sign that the mission had been terminated, be it successfully or failed.
