The Female Titan

[Name]'s POV 

"Open the gates!" a Garrison officer shouted. The gates slowly opened, everything felt it was in slo-mo. There was a moment of silence. Faint whispers of kids admiring their Soldiers made my eyes gleamed in hope. I hope we get something out of this.

"Forward!" Erwin screamed, "It has officially begun! Scouts, move out!" Erwin commanded, Soldiers moving their horses forward. As we made our way out of Wall Maria, a new breeze of air caressed my scalp. I breathed, trying to take in the familiar environment. Houses were destroyed, long wild veins coming out of the ground, some started growing out of the houses' walls.

"We've got a ten meter closing in from the left! I'll let the Support Team take this!" Hange shouted, and the Support Team made their way to the left. Sasha let out a pity squeal as the Titan carelessly swatted the air. "Eyes front! It's their job to handle it, yours is to keep moving!"

Eventually, we successfully made it out past the city. From this point on was the territory of the Titans.

Erwin's beaming voice was heard after I took a good look at the surroundings. "Assume the long-distance scouting formation!" I snapped back to reality and patted my horse, and looked towards my right to Jean. "This you?"

"I swear-"

"Later, Armin." Reiner said, as he splitted up.

"Don't wet yourself even if you run into a Titan!" Jean said.

Armin nodded his head, "Right. Same to you!"

"Bye." I waved.

Unfortunately, we were placed on the front of the line, on the right side. Behind us was Armin, Reiner, and Jean. The Squad watched as their captain approached them from behind.

"Think I peed a bit." Kishibi sheepishly admitted. "Wouldn't want to be your horse. It stinks from here, my God!" green-eyed Cristelle yelled, literally slapping the air. "Don't exaggerate, you oaf."

"Shut up." Yuuna and [Name] synced. "Titan to your left, shoot a flare." the Captain ordered. Nobody obeyed.

"It's gonna reach us!" Ino screamed.

"Ino, Yuuna. Go and get that one, come back when you're done. And I would like to see you in one piece, if you might." her [e/c] orbs locked with the duo and received a mere nod. The two changed course to the left as [Name] sighed.

She turned her head to Kishibi and Cristelle bickering and arguing on something the Captain could not pinpoint on. And then Cristelle proceeds to punch the boy on his stomach, causing him to lose balance and almost fall from his horse. They are so in love.

[Name] tch'ed. She'd never smiled as wide and freely as them after Anadil's death. "It's no time to flirt, Kishibi, Cristelle. Focus on your task so we can get back home faster and you can do... whatever partners do, I suppose." the duo blushed at the remark.
