Prologue: The Dream.

“I can't do this!” I screamed as the next contraction racked my body. They were getting stronger each time, and I could feel the baby trying to push it's way out. 'Oh why didn’t I choose the freaking drugs!' I thought, 'it would have been easier than this.' Ow here comes another one...

“Push Kelli, Push! The baby's almost out” Emi said. This nurse was such a lifesaver, if she hadn’t been here I would be totally alone now, this is what I get for not listening to my mom, or my boyfriend (ex-boyfriend now...I'll explain later) no one except this nurse to help me through the hardest thing I'll ever do. I didn’t know it would be this hard though.

Okay I think I should first introduce myself, I'm Kelli Richards, I'm 17 years old, I have brown hair and gray eyes, I'm 5'6” and I used to be slim. I lived in California with my mom at least until I told her that I was pregnant, then she kicked me out. You see she didn’t like the guy who got me this way, she thought he was a no good piece of ****, and so she wanted me to get rid of the baby, but I loved him and I loved our baby, so I moved out of my mom's house and I tried to move in with him, that's when I found out what he was really like, it turns out he was messing around with another girl and when he found out he got me pregnant, he blamed the whole thing on me and he said either get rid of it or he's out. So I chose the baby, and from that point on I've been working odd jobs and staying with supportive friends, then I went into labor. Now that was fun...Yeah right...My water broke (how freaking gross was that! ew) then my friends dad had to drive me to the hospital, then they just left me there. So here I am 17, pregnant, and all alone, thankfully this nurse (Emi) came in and stayed with me, she looked like she was about 25, I don’t know what I'd do without her. So they wheeled me into a delivery room and that's when the fun started....Where was my dad in all this you ask? Well he died a few years ago, he had brain cancer. So it was just my mom and I, but since she kicked me out it was just me and my baby.

“Ahhhhhh!” I yelled, “when will it be out!?”

“Soon Hun, I can see the head,' Emi replied, 'oh look at all that hair”

“ugh I don’t want to look”

“Okay, one more good push and you'll be able to hold your little one, Ready?

One...Two...Three...Push!”

“Ahhhhhh! I'm Pushing!”

Oh my gosh that hurt! Finally though I felt no more pain, then I heard it...A baby crying, the doctor was working quickly to get my baby (Oh my gosh!! My Baby, I cant' believe it!) to breath and cry, they were also trying to warm it up (no one told me yet exactly what I had).

“It's a Girl!” Emi said, when she finally brought my baby (my baby girl!) over to me, oh wow she was so gorgeous, “she's perfect” I said as I took her in my arms, “I can't believe she's mine.”

“What are you going to call her?”

“I think...Angela Marie, Marie was my grandma's name, she was the only one who was supportive of me keeping the baby, up until the day she died, I'll call her Angie for short.”

“That's a beautiful name dear, she'll be proud of it when she gets older,”

“thanks Emi, you know...For everything.”

“No problem sweetie, I'll let you two get acquainted, I'll be back later to check on you.” She walked from the room.

So now I was alone with my baby girl, my little Angie Marie. She started nuzzling me, okay what in the world is she looking for? Oh! Yeah that’s right, haha. I undid the gown I had on, and she found just what she was searching for, it hurt at first but after a few minutes feeding her was kind of relaxing, I got more comfortable and I started feeling sleepy, I drifted to sleep with my new little baby happily suckling away (she was getting sleepy too).

That's when I woke up.....
