Warning:

This chapter mentions drinking and suicidal triggers. Please be aware as you read this chapter. Anyways, back to the story.

Also, I thought this song from Fruit Baskets would reflect the pain that Yoona is experiencing. Please listen to it as you read!

Now back to the story!

----------

Besides sneak attacking Jugyeong with icing, the rest of the school day was relatively normal. The girls insisted on celebrating my birthday, but I had other events planned. So, I promised them that we would celebrate the following weekend. I parted ways with Sua and Sujin at the front of the school and parted ways with Jugyeong at my bus stop.

Walking from the bus stop, I made my way back home. The door creaked open as I pushed against it. Darkness immediately engulfed me. Sighing, I turned on the lights and shut the door gently. I trudged to my room to put my school things down but froze when I passed his room. Faint echoes of laughter rang through my mind.

I was frozen; the memories of the two of us swirled in my mind as I looked at the closed door. The laughter throughout the house when we made fun of one another. Then crying after we fought against each other. Most importantly, the unspoken agreement to always have each others' backs. My eyes stung with unshed tears whilst my nose started to run. I'm sorry Seyeon. I'm sorry that I didn't have your back when you needed me the most. I'm sorry...

My hands were clenched in fists at my side as a small sob escaped me. Haziness filled my vision as I let my tears fall. The dusty door handle taunted me. Open it. My hands slowly grasped the door handle before his face flashed in my mind. No...I can't. Flinching, I reluctantly let go of the door handle and pressed my head on the door.

His room had been untouched since the incident, my parents would clean it but leave everything where it was. Almost like, tricking our minds to believe that he was still here. I chuckled bitterly whilst wiping my tears from my cheeks. Pounding my hands against the door, I let my head hang as I wept. My back hit the door as I slid down holding my head in my hands. I miss you, Seyeon.

I hopped off the bus and made my way to the coffee shop. Although it was in the late afternoon, the sun still shone brightly through the clouds. Glimpses of darkness alternated with the beams of light throughout the day.

I was going to meet up with Seojun, after his shift from work. He promised me that we were going to do something fun today. I bounced up the steps of the cafe, excited for the day; however, as soon as I got there, Seojun ran up to me. His hands gripped my arms with worry.

"Where's Seyeon?" Seojun shakily let out. The usual bad boy demeanor was gone, instead, his entire body radiated terror. I looked at him confusedly.

"He's training at his company...where else would he be?" I responded hesitantly. Did he know something I didn't? The tall boy ran his fingers through his hair with worry.

"He didn't call you?" Shaking my head, I tried to piece the pieces together.

Right on cue, my phone buzzed from my pocket. I pulled out my phone and looked at the caller ID: Seyeon. My widened eyes met Seojun's perplexed ones. The tall boy put a finger to his lips, telling me not to reveal that I was out with him. I gave Seojun a slight nod before answering the call.

"Yoona," Seyeon's voice trailed off, "You know I love you right." If it weren't for Seojun's panic earlier, I would think everything was normal. Seyeon would usually say this when he was about to do something that I wouldn't approve of.
