Jason:
I asked JC how she was feeling and what was on her mind. I do this because she may be a risk taker but she is also a lot more. The problem is that a bad ass is the only way her friends see her. All they do is treat her like total shit. It pisses her off and hurts me. I hate seeing her sad. It breaks me. It really does. Every Saturday the routine is; JC and I try to recover from our hangover; all our friends come over; we talk and play truth or dare; everyone leaves; JC cries; and then she falls asleep with me there. The first part is fun if I do say so myself. But the after effects destroys both of us.
4 hours passed. 4 hours of laughing, smiling, talking and a couple kisses on her forehead. We both laid together on the couch. I was half sitting up against the arm rest with JC's body between my legs and her head lightly resting on my stomach. This was and is my favourite place in the world. It is calm, lively and the loving home I never had. The room had been in complete silence for a couple minutes now. I could tell JC was starting to drift away. "Hey JC?" I mumbled.
Her reply was soft and tired, "yea?"
I finally whispered, "are you ok?" There was no response. A part of me thought that she was thinking, but the majority of me knew she fell asleep. I let her leave me to move over to her perfect world.[sorry this chapter is really short. I'll try to make up for it]
