Warrior

You were made for more
Then all these lies they tell you
You've made lots of wishes on stars
And none of them came true

Your face has been tearstained
Your words have been slurred
Your family ignores your pain
Your voice never heard

The pain is unbearable
You wipe the tears from your face
You straighten your armor
Everything back in it's rightful place

Taking your first step
Into the right direction
Almost always the hardest part
In real life or in fiction

You walk to the battle
Everybody stares
No one recognizes you
They just look and admires

You are now the warrior
That everyone looks to
You might not believe it
But it's true

You are now worshiped
As a brave and mighty leader
They bow down
Never without a falter

You show them your original form
They all shake in fear
For they now know they hurt you
Their injuries brought you to tear

You take their pride and rank
They are now where you started
They could straighten their armor
Or forever live broken hearted
