"I didn't come to see you for no reason, I was actually holding your termination letter"
Luna's mouth hung open. To say she was confused about her boss's behaviour would be an understatement. Unpredictable, right from the beginning to the very end.
She slowly sat on her table, rubbing her head. This was starting to cause a headache.
"But you didn't you give me the letter, why?""I couldn't do that to you in that state. I figured if he saw you, he would give you a second chance. And he did"
Luna internally chuckled, if only he knew.
She realized that Dylan had a great respect for big boss and admired immensely. She didn't want to destroy that by disclosing the deal. There's always this one thing you can't share with the ones close to you, this was one of those things.
All the respect he had for big boss would vanish. She kept on weighing the pros and the cons, her marriage would have been the thing to stop her, but a part of her wanted to pay Zach back in his own coin.Dylan stood up, embracing her. "Stop worrying your little head about it, like I said Remy likes you and won't kick you out."
"Why do you keep saying that? How do you know?"
Dylan scoffed at her wondering how she couldn't see the obvious. "It's how he looks at you, like you remind of his happiness in the past. He sees you and he can't remember where he is"
Luna would have burst out laughing if not for the reminscing look that was on Dylan's face.
"Are you related to big boss?""You could say family but not really related." He murmured. "Ok, since you're done for today pick your bag and let's go"
Luna moved across the room organizing her office. "I'm I picking a cab..or?"
"Don't be silly Luna, he told me to come get you. He's talking to the head of security on ground floor."
Luna could already imagine her colleagues gossiping about her always leaving and coming to the office with big boss if this continued. Someone was bound to discover, soon suspicions would be flying then judgement would follow without the full story being told.
"Luna, are you alright?" His face filled with concern.
"Yeah, let's go."
The elevator was in filled with silence as Luna still pondered on her many worries and Dylan was playing candy crash on his phone. The doors opened and they both stepped out, the cool summer breeze enveloping them entirely.
The security main office was located at the back of the large car park and big boss's car was parked at a different section, reserved for him only. Luna and Dylan, slowly walked side by side towards the car no words were exchanged between them.
It was a comfortable type of silence.
A few meters away from the vehicle, big boss appeared with his security entourage and they opened the door for him. Like he could feel her presence, he turned, his eyes met hers and the man holding the door stepped aside as big boss took his place holding out the door.
He stood, waiting for her to enter first. Luna's face redden like her hair.
Now he was just taking it to the extreme. You want to fuck me, point taken. That doesn't mean the whole world should know it and he was making it quite obvious.
"See there, right there is a man consumed by woman he can't get out of his mind" Dylan whispered, so only she could hear.
"Shut up, Dylan!"
