Luna's knees slammed on the dark polished tiles. She quickly raised the toilet lid, gagging as she regurgitated her mango smoothie and yesterday's dinner.
Tears continued to roll down her make-up smudged face she slumped on the floor sobbing her heart out.
It had been an hour since she left the bank. She had declined their assistance and warning to go the hospital. It was actually crazy how she managed to get back Remington Corps.
She had released her long hair, shifting it infront to curtain her face. The glass of water she was forced to drink at bank gave her enough energy to make it back without feeling extra dizzy. Apparently she had had a panic attack, fortunately a paramedic who was passing by heard the commotion and was able to calm her with a breathing technique.
She used the private elevator to the executive floor, running straight for her office and for the first time since she was employed, locked it behind her.
She removed her heels, missing her laptop as she threw them across the room. She paced around, throwing books, files and and papers. The small dustbin hit the wall with a bang when she kicked it.
She was angry.
And sad, heartbroken.
More angry than sad.
She was taking it out in her office, trying to reck the place generally. It didn't occur to her that these were office properties, which she would be held responsible for due it's destruction.
Well, she could deal with the consequences later.Fuck consequences! She was high on emotions right now, and she wouldn't stop till was totally satisfied.
The contents on her desk flew off by the swinging of her hands, the mug breaking as it hit the floor. Pens and pencils, stationary scattered on the floor. It was mayhem.
If not for soundproof walls, the ruckus taking place should have been heard on the third floor. Just as she was about to reach for the desk telephone, the urge to throw up suddenly grew stronger.Acting quickly, she raced to the washroom, her bare feet echoing as it slapped against the polished marble floor. Luckily it was empty, she made it just in time.
Rising slowly, she flushed and walked with her head hanging low in defeat towards the sink. She was physically drained and mentally exhausted.
Gasping when she looked at herself in the mirror, her tangled hair looked like a bird's nest and her brand new shirt was now wrinkled with the top two buttons missing. The top of her breast were now exposed.
Her eyes were so red, she could have been mistaken for a weed smoker or someone who was currently high. The mascara stained on her cheeks alongside her swollen eyes and and other unpleasant factors made her appear homeless. As she continued to stare at herself she began to get angry. She didn't bargain for this when she agreed to marry someone she had believed would never hurt her.
He had put her through hell for two years! Someone would ask why she got married to him in the first place if it appeared that he didn't deserve her?
Well, blame it on safety. She felt at ease with him; since they became friends from a young age, Luna transitioned from there to become his girlfriend. Which made him Luna's first and only man in her life. She didn't get the chance to explore the male species to the fullest.
Her personality too was a factor. After the death of her parents she became more reserved. She already wasn't the outgoing sociable type of person she was always ironically surrounded with thanks to Zach.
