Philip was starting to kinda like suspension. No school means no annoying teachers on your back, no learning, no disgusting cafeteria food,...yeah, this is the life...even though it only lasted one more day.
Phil decided to head outdoors to just chill and play around in the snow after helping out his mom.
"Philly, make sure you're bundled up. It's freezing outside, dear, and I don't want you catching pnemonia." His mom said, as she began her dusting tour around the house.
"Yea, mom, yea," Philip said, pulling on his boots. He grabbed his ice skates just in case there happened to be a pefectly frozen pond somewhere.
"Have fun and be careful," She warned.
"Yup, will do," Phil said, opening the door and stepping outside.
He wandered around the block and happened to end up in the park. Philip spotted a frozen pond and smiled. This is perfect for ice skating.
He slipped on his ice skates and walked onto the pond. At first, Philip wobbled around, struggling to balance himself. But, in a few minutes, he was gracefully skating across the frozen pond.
Phil closed his eyes and felt the cold bitter wind hit him in the face as he went around the pond.
SMACK!
A snowball hit Phil on the back and sent him flying across the pond onto the snow.
"Ow!" Phil moved around his body parts to make sure none were injured.
"HAHA! Nice shot, Barry!"
Phil froze. Barry?! He was one of those dudes who were plotting to blow up something! Maybe it's another Barry, no, it can't-
"Well, well, long time no see, huh Philip?" It was Barry. It was definetely Barry's voice.
Philip gulped, wanting to stay down on the ice, but he decided to get up and defend himself. There those two crooks were standing, with ugly smirks on their stupid faces.
"Well, well, if it isn't the lunatics who wanted to blow up something. How's that going, by the way?" Those words came out of nowhere, and Philip was surprised that he even said them.
Barry and Justin looked taken aback but quickly recovered.
"That's none of your beeswax, kid," Barry said, angrily.
"So..why are you guys here?" Philip had no idea where the heck this confidence was coming from.
Neither of them said anything.
"Um, what ARE we doing here?" Justin whispered to Barry. But his whispers sounded just like his normal voice, so it was easy for Phil to overhear.
"Shut up!" Barry hissed. To Phil he replied evilly,
"We came here for a little revenge. You know, eye for an eye."
Phil gulped nervously.
"So, even I throw a stick, you won't leave?" Philip asked. Whoa...that came out of nowhere. Philip thought.
"Ooh...BURN. You want some ice with that burn-OW!" Barry punched Justin in the arm.
"Alright kid, I had enough with your stupid comebacks and what nots." Barry started to walk towards Phil menacingly.
Phil looked around for means of escaping. When he looked behind him, he saw Justin walking towards him. Great...
"Nowhere to run, Philip." Barry said, smiling evilly. Philip gulped and searched his mind for a retort but there was none. Dang it!
