Chapter • Fifteen

Ellerie's POV
I woke up in my bed next to Luke. Last night we had all gone to bed not super late. Luke slept in my room and now I was just waking up. Luke rolled over and our faces were close together. He smiled at me then licked the tip of my nose. I quickly jumped back and laughed while wiping my nose.

"Your so pretty Ellie." He smiled at me.

"Your pretty too Lu." I giggled back. He laughed back and we just laid in bed for a while.

"Ugh." I sighed.

"What?" Luke asked looking at me.

"I have to pack!" I said.

"Well then I have to pack too!" Luke smiled back at me. It was around ten and last night Luke and I decided we would drive together and Mari, Ryland, Tyler and Sasha would take my car. We haven't told too many people that were together. The only people who really know are Mari and Ryland and Luke told Sasha last night but I doubt he remembers because he was wasted.

Luke was about to get up when his phone started ringing. It was plugged in on the floor near me so I grabbed it and handed it to him. I saw that it was Jack calling and as soon as Luke noticed it was Jack he rolled his eyes.

"Hey man." Luke said sounding slightly annoyed.

"Hey so I know your leaving this afternoon and I was wondering if you wanted to stop at our house and spend the day with me and the boys?" I heard jack asked. I busied myself with packing while also listening to Luke's conversation.

"I mean yeah I want to but I'm driving Ellie home and I don't just want to leave her in the dirt." He said rubbing his face.

"Just bring her along. We all want to meet her." Jack said from the other side of the phone.

"Ok." Luke said then looked up at me. "Does that sound good with you?"

"Yeah that would be super fun!" I smiled at him then zipped up my bag.

"Ok yeah we're down." Luke said back at his phone.

"Ok cool!" Jack said happily.

"Alrighty I'll see you around noon?" Luke asked Jack.

"Yeah that's perfect." I heard Jack respond.

"Ok see ya rowdy." Luke said going to hang up the phone. He got up and went to close his bag.

"This is ok with you right?" He asked making sure I was positive.

"Yes. I'm so ok with this." I said excitedly.

"Ok cool!" Luke said picking up his bag. "So we're gonna leave in like an hour?"

"Yeah that's perfect." I answered. We both dropped out bags in his trunk then I went inside to make sure Mari was ok with locking up. Once everything was in place and I was time to go Luke and I left. I climbed into his passenger seat and grabbed the aux cord. I played my summer playlist while he drove. He grabbed my hand and we started the hour long drive to his lake house.

"Ellie I think your going to like the boys." Luke smiled at me.

"I think I will too." I smiled back. "Whose all there."

"So it's Jack, Alex Turcotte, Trevor, Matt Boldy, Cole, Dom, Patrick Moynihan, and Danny Weight." He said while Khalid played in the background.

"That's a lot of hockey guys!" I laughed.

"Yeah not like there were just 11 at your house." He chuckled back.

"Yeah I guess your right." I smiled up at him.
