Ellerie's POV Luke and I approached our friends who I knew where trying not to look like they were staring at us just moments ago.
"Here come sit with me." Luke said leading my to the padio.
"Ok." I smiled at him. Mari and Feesa are making dinner tonight so I had time to just chill out with our friends.
"Dylan sent me this picture." He said showing me the picture Dylan took of me and Ryland.
"Oh my gosh I didn't even know you were in it!" I laughed.
"Haha yeah!" He told me. "I think I'm going to post it."
"Ooo yes!" I said.
"Ok good." He smiled at his phone. "I think you look great but I wanted to make sure that it was ok, cuz I know girls are sometimes that way about pictures."
"Luke I think its great." I said hugging him.
"Ok good." He smiled at me.

Luke's phone kept dinging next to us.
"Your phone Luke." I said laughing while taking my turn in rummikub.
"It's my brother and his friends." He said rolling his eyes sounding annoyed.
"Just answer them so that they will leave us alone.
"Luke!" Sasha shouted from where he was playing spikeball.
"What Sash?" He shouted back.
"Jack is calling me!" Sasha shouted back.
"Ugh I'll call him." He sighed. Luke's phone made dialing noises. Jack's face filled the screen
"What do you want asshole." Luke said propping his phone up on a water glass.
"The boys and I want to know who this girl is." Jack asked from the other end.
"She has a name." Luke said while taking his turn.
"Well what is it dukes." Jack laughed. "It's not like you tell me anything."
Luke seemed annoyed with him so I just grabbed his phone.
"Hi Jack and others I'm Elle." I said introducing myself.
"Hey!" Jack smiled at me.
"Sorry we're just locked in a heated match of rummikub." I laughed as he laughed along.
"Luke hurry up." Feesa complained.
"Seems pretty difficult." Someone laughed.
"No way!" I heard Jake say and I looked up. "How'd you win?"
"I'm just good." Luke said.
"No fair." I frowned.
"I'm going to give you back to Luke." I smiled at the phone. "Bye!"
Luke gave me a fist bump and took the phone walking away.
"Dude she's so pretty!" I heard from the phone as Luke was walking away.
"I know man." He said while walking inside.
I turned to Carter who had the same smile as me. "Did his brother really just call him about you." She said excitedly.
"I know." I said in disbelief.
"And his brother called his friend because he wasn't answering." She said.
"What's the tea?" Ryland asked from behind us. "Yeah what's the tea?" Ryan also said.
I broke out in laughter at Ryan talking like a valley girl. Ryland jumped over the couch.
"But like seriously." Ryland said.
"Jack just called Luke about Elle."
Luke's POV "But Jack did you really need to call me now?" I asked kind of upset with him.
"Dukes calm down she seemed happy to talk." Jack answered me.
"Still I felt bad." I said embarrassed.
"Or you were embarrassed." Alex said from next to jack.
"I mean you guys called me ten minutes after I posted with her what did you expect." I said rolling my eyes while walking into Ellie's room.
"Yeah I mean whatever." Jack said as the phone was taken from his hands.
"She seems really nice dukes." Dom said to me.
"And she's a rocket!" Pat said from behind Dom.
"Yeah I mean she is really pretty and she's super nice and we have like all the same friends." I rambled on.
"Geez man she's got you whipped." I heard Trevor say as Jack took his phone back.
"But anyways Luke I like her a lot." Jack smiled.
"Dude you talked to her once." I laughed back.
The door to Ellie's room opened.
"Hey I figured you would be in here." Ellie said walking into her room.
"Yeah." I responded. "I just needed to get away to talk to Jack."
"Well my room was a good choice." She chuckled.
"Your in her room!" Alex shouted from the other end of the phone.
"Yeah chill out there's twenty people here." I laughed. "It's basically just the quietest place."
"Hey Luke?" Ellie asked coming out of her bathroom.
"Yeah?" I answered her looking at her.
"Come down soon, Mari just finished dinner." She said going to leave her room.
"I'll be down in a minute." I answered.
"Dude did you see the way he looked at her?" I heard Cole ask from my phone.
"I know." Trevor said. "I wish Pat would look at me that way."
That made me laugh. "Alright guys I'm gonna got get some grub."
"And your girl." Alex said from behind Jack.
"Alright dukes." Jack said. "Remember to be a gentleman."
