kairi and mattia knew eachother by mattia's cousins. they met around kindergarten, kairi thought he was very cute, but didn't question it.
second grade hits both not being friends but knowing eachother, his cousin going up to mattia and kissing him on cheek, him getting mad at her. kairi thought it was very funny. every girl wanted be with mattia, i mean he played soccer

"i dare you to go kiss mattia on the cheek" kairi said to liz
"okay if he gets mad it's your fault kai" she said

3rd grade came around, kairi was happy to see his friends just to find out mattia had moved schools, he didn't know why but oh well. the year goes by everyone jaír forgetting about that.
he made amazing friends in 3rd grade.
4th grade hits, his family starts having problems with eachother. which leads to kairi moving schools in december right when winter break is. he didn't wanna leave his friends, but he had to.
after winter breaks he starts a new school, just to see mattia there. he was shook mattia was there. everything goes good for the year then middle school hits.
6th grade, both still knowing each other but not friends. kairi came to the realization he liked mattia, he told his bestie alvaro. alvaro promised not to tell anyone but mattia found out everything. i mean they had math class together for god sakes. kairi found himself staring at mattia, just thinking about him. the year goes by.
