I woke up in my room, on my bed. I tried to get up but was stopped by a chain on my foot stuck to a metal bar drilled into the wall next to my bed. "What the hell?" I muttered tiredly. Why was this on my leg?
Without warning in comes Mephisto. He closed the door and grabbed a chair and moved it to the farthest corner of the room, well away from me. He just stared at me for awhile. I thought I was going to go crazy with him boring his eyes into my skull. What did he want? Why didn't he just say something?!
"Do you know what you've done, Akane?"
What was he talking about? "What's the last thing you remember?" He asked me. What was the last thing i remember? I remember Shima, Rin and I arguing, And then I walked out. I don't remember anything else. Why?
"Uh Rin and I were arguing over something stupid, I walked out and then I decided to go back to my dorm. Why is this on me?" I said confused. He looked at me with pity. I hate that look. It was so familiar.
"Hmm, interesting." He said. "W-what did I do?" I asked nervously, stuttering. Why don't I remember?
"You attacked Rin, and Shiemi. Very violently." He said with a sigh.
"What?" I said. "You seemed to have targeted Rin more specifically." He said.
"Haha, no way. That's a very funny joke. You can stop now." I said almost in tears.
He looked at me like I was some poor, confused, child. "Seriously. Tell me it's a joke. It is, right?" I said. By now it was full on sobbing. He came over and hugged me. I could feel the bile rise in my throat. I threw up in the trash can next to the bed. Mephisto pulled back my hair and rubbed my back as I regurgitated.
He agreed to take the chain off my leg as he saw that I wasn't a danger anymore. However, I was not to leave the dorm unless supervised. I have Yukio in all my classes so he watches me there.
"You know," Mephisto said, "Rin said he was looking for you, you might want to find him, but not with out Yukio or Someone else present." He said. I looked at him questioningly. "It's because he may be a trigger for whatever happened to you."
Oh. That's great.

I called Yukio an asked him to come with me to talk to Rin. Thankfully, Mephisto did all the explaining for me. I was so nervous. Was he gonna run away screaming? Yell about how insane I am? or worse, want revenge?Yukio said he was in his room. So that's where we went.
I looked at the door of Rin's room. I peered at his brother nervously, as if asking if it was okay. He nodded at me encouraging me. I knocked twice. I was so scared of his reaction.
He opened the door, wearing some jeans and a white T-shirt. His expression was surprised and scared. I could see he had a bandage on his cheek and a wrap around his arm.
I did that? I don't even remember it. I reached out and grazed the bandage around his arm. He pulled back slightly, alarmed that I was going to attack him. I could see his sword in his hand.
"I-I did this," I said softly, "I'm so, so sorry Rin." I looked up at his face. His face changed to a look of, warmth? That was my limit. I reached out to him, crying. He was hugging me as I cried into his chest, muttering "I'm sorry," over and over again. He held me at arms length and looked me in the eyes. "It's OK Akane. I forgive you." He said in a calm soothing tone. I stopped crying and rubbed at my face, trying to get rid of any sign that I was crying.
"I think it's best to not see each other for a while." I said coolly. His slightly shocked face told me that he didn't anticipate my statement. Neither did I. It was the emotionless nature in me that made react the way I did. But, in the end it will be better for me to not be attached. It will be best for everyone else, too.
He didn't say anything. I took advantage of his confusion and said, "Great. We agree." And with that I walked away. Not looking back. I just hope this was the right decision.
