Sick To My Stomach

During class I occasionally talked with Shima and, I had learned his name, Bon. When we weren't talking about what they did to become exorcists and all that junk, I couldn't help but notice every time Rin would lean over to that little blonde chick and whisper something to her, then she would giggle and smile. They looked like a sweet little couple in love. It made me sick. 

"Who's that blonde girl?" I asked, finally fed up with watching them flirt.

"That's Shiemi, Rin's little girlfriend," Shima said with a dorky voice at the end.

"Oh, I didn't know he had a girlfriend," I said my eyebrows raised.

"Eh, They're not really a couple but they always act like it," Bon said with disdain. Glad to know someone agrees with me. 

"Oh! Akane, did you change your bandages?" Shima said to me when Bon turned back around.

"Bandages?" I asked confused.

"Yeah you were bleeding. Alot. If you need help I can stop by later," He said with a wink. My cheeks suddenly felt really warm.

"No thanks. Aren't you supposed to be a priest?" I said pointedly.

"Not yet," He said with a smile. 

Seeing him whisper to her again, I sent a little ball of what looked like red lightning towards him. I watched as it jumped from the metal of each chair and shocked him. "Ah! Something shocked me!" He screamed.

"Hey! Akane! Wait up!" I heard Rin shout from a distance. Just ignore him. He actually caught up pulling the blon- sorry, Shiemi, along with him. She was wearing some kimono. Weird. isn't this just a regular school? 

"I want you to meet Shiemi!" He said as I stopped walking.

"Hello! Its nice to meet you!" She said with an overly perky voice. Completely awful to meet you, I think to myself.

"Hello," I said and walked away. I watched as she stared, mouth open, while she and Rin walked away. 

After they were out of eyesight, I went to Shima's dorm and knocked on the door. Bon was the one to answer. "Huh, Akane? What do you need?" He asked a little confused as to why I was here.

"I need to see Shima," I said a little nervously. I really hope he doesn't get the wrong idea. 

"I'll get him, just a sec," He said closing the door. A little while later I heard steps running towards the door. Shima opened the door and looked a little surprised. I grabbed his wrist and started walking towards my dorm. The dorm I was in by myself. "Akane? Where are we going?" He asked. 

I stopped an turned around to face him. "You said you'd help me. I don't know how to change bandages," I said.

"There. That's all the bandages I think," Shima said.  "How did you get those injuries anyway?" 

"I don't know," was all I said. He looked at me with concerned eyes.

"What did you dream about?"He said. Something terrible. Worse than you can imagine.

"It was nothing," I had said.

It was nothing.
