The Secrets Flowers Hold (pt.2)

It's been a week since the festival and Lan Wangji is still a mess. He couldn't get Wei Wuxian out of his head and every time he sketched out his plans for the competition, he always end up with  sketches of Wei Wuxian and now he has about 4 sketches of him lying around in his office. No longer being able to get him out of his head, he mustered up his courage and made his merry way to the flower shop with the sketches in hand. Why did he bring those with him? Well he himself doesn't know. Maybe as a gift? Yea, just a little thank you gift for inviting him to the festival. Nothing special.  

Now that Lan Wangji is standing in front of Rabbi, the floral boutique where Wei Wuxian works at, he has absolutely no idea what to do. As if sensing him there, Wei Wuxian came out of his shop, making eye contact with him. The moment their eyes met, all of his anxiety washed away as he approach Wei Wuxian in a blanked out state. (A/N: no he's not high on drugs, maybe on love? ;) ) 

Lan Wangji pov

"Hi !...Mr Lan Wangji?" Wei Wuxian said waving his little hand in front of my face "What are you doing here?" shit Lan Wangji! What the hell do you do now?! I am not prepared for this! "Oh! Hi Mr Wei Wuxian...I'm here to thank you for inviting me to you festival last week! This is a little gift for you!" I quickly replied as I bowed my head handing him my sketches. "Hahah.. thank you." Wei Wuxian replied as he open the envelope. "WOW Mr lan wangji! If I didn't know you were a pastry chef I would have thought you were an artist." he complimented with that dashing smile of his. I swear I saw those halo hues radiating off of him. "I'm glad you like them. I hope i weren't bothering you, visiting out of the blue." i said as i gather my composure after the blessing i just received. 

"Oh no, you weren't disturbing me. Actually after closing up, I was planning to visit your bakery and taste those famous pastries of yours." So he was planning to visit me?! What ?! Did he wanted to see me?.. Ok Lan Wangji don't get ahead of yourself. He said he wanted to try those pastries not you. "Well then shall we go now? It's quite peaceful around this time around and it will be on the house." I invited him without a second thought. "That's very nice of you. Well, then i guess I'm gonna have to take you up on that offer then!" he replied with that adorable smile of his. Just as we are about to get going i heard him say "Oh! Before we go I forgot something back in the shop. Please, come on in for a sec and feel free to look around the shop while i go get it." he said as he went into the back room.

Well if he say so. Let's see...hmm..something is weird. Why is every thing arranged so strangely? Why are forget-me-not flowers in a small aisle called greed? While looking at the flowers i saw a small piece of brown laminated paper displayed. I was about to read the writings on it when i was interrupted by a hand on my shoulder which kinda scared me but he doesn't have to know that. "I got it!" he said as he showed me the thing he forgot, his phone. Cute."Shall we go now?" "Yes! I'm dying to taste those pastries of yours." 

The walk to the bakery was pleasantly quiet. Neither of us wanted to break the comforting silence. As the bakery comes into view I heard Wei Wuxian's little gasp followed by a squealing "Lan Zhan it's so adorableee~~~" "I'm glad you like it Wei Ying-" wait, who the hell is Wei Ying and why did I call Wei Wuxian that? And did he just called me Lan Zhan? Who the hell is Lan Zhan?! Is it his ex- okay okay it's not my business but whoever this lan zhan is, I don't like him. 

"Eee I love it! Come on let's go in!" Wei Wuxian still squealing getting excited like a giant kid, pulling me out of my daze. "Yea, come on in. What's your favourite drink? I'll make it for you." I said pulling a chair for him at my favourite quite and cozy corner in my bakery. "Oooo~ Mr pastry chef is also a barista." "Come onn" "Well Mr pastry chef and barista I would like to have a cup of cold brewed fruit tea and that lotus looking cake displayed there." "Okay, please wait for a bit." "Hai Hai" he said playfully saluting me. Oh gosh why is he so adorable?
