it was time for selena to get her flu shot selena did not like going to the doctors selena was one when she got her first shot she's 3 now almost 4 so hopefully it is not as bad this time but now that she's older she's kind of more aware so hopefully we don't have to drag her lol
you were brushing your daughters hair while she was playing with the hair tie in her hand you were putting selenas hair in a high ponytail
y/n:*alright mama you are all ready to go to the doctors*
selena: *mommy i don't wanna go please* she whines
y/n: *i know baby but it's just for a little bit okay* you cup her cheek and reassure her
jj walks in the room and lifts selena up smiling
jj:*hi pretty girl you ready to go?* he smiles at her while she is in arms
selena:*daddy i don't want to* she lays her head on his shoulder while he's carrying her in his arms
y/n: *she's scared but i told her that'll it only be for a little bit*
jj looks at selena *princess i promise to reward you when we leave the doctor for being a tough girl okay*

you guys got to the doctor and sat in the waiting room waiting to be called you and jj were sitting next to eachother while selena was playing with the toys they had there
*selena maybank?* the lady called out you and jj stood up selena looked at the lady with scared face she walks to you has her arms and pouts for you to pick her up
*hi beautiful girl* the lady said to selena *your so pretty* you and jj smile at the lady and then give a smile to selena she was being shy and scared
y/n: *tell her thank you mama* she still had the nervous face on
jj: *shes scared* he chuckes
the lady walks you guys into the room you and jj take a seat while selena is in your arms laying her head on your shoulder
*okay the doctor will be with you guys shortly okay?*
y/n:*okay thank you* you smile at her
jj: *selena mama don't be scared okay it's just a little pinch okay baby* she just buries her head in your shoulder more
y/n*i feel bad babe* you look at him with a guilt face
jj:*i know but she'll be okay she's a tough girl* he rubs your back
the nurse knocks and jj says that she is allowed to come in
nurse:*okay now who do we have here?* she lets out a happy gasp
y/n: *tell her hi baby*
nurse: *awh it's okay it'll only be a little pinch okay*
so as the nurse began to get ready to give her shot but selena started having a meltdown
jj:*mama come here here look sit here i'm going to hold your hand okay* the nurse gives selena the shot which made selena cry alittle
jj:*aww princess it's okay i know i know* he hugs her more tightly while she cries
y/n: *you did it selena good job baby* selena began to calm down the nurse even offered her stickers for being a tough girl
as you guys were leaving jj had selena in his arms while you guys were walking to the car overall feeling proud of selena (:
