Reyna

How do you get amnesia from serpent's poison? That's not possible. Sure, you could get a horrible burn that makes your skin smoke and black, but not amnesia. Nico probably was the only person she could think of that had achieved this. And he couldn't possibly be messing with her because A) He doesn't play around B) He knew that she would kill him if he messed with her, and C) His eyes held a sense of total confusion when she saw he was awake against the tree.

He'd looked around, making his raven black hair looked even messier than it was. When he saw her, his eyes had widened, but at the times she didn't wonder why. She'd only been relieved that he had finally woken up. He hadn't looked any different, but she could sense that something had changed. But she didn't care then. She still didn't know why.

Still...he doesn't seem as sad. Probably because he forgot about every awful, horrible thing that had happened. Reyna hated to admit it, but that seemed like a pretty good deal. Forgetting everything that has happened to you and everything you've done. She had so many things that she regretted. Stop it, she thought, you don't have any time to moan about yourself.

When she pushed a big, waxy leaf blocking her way to her right, she found Coach Hedge mixing some sort of paste in a bowl. When she got closer, it smelled like pine and grapes. The smell reminded her of the Gardens of Bacchus in New Rome, making her relaxed and a bit home-sick. She stood next to Coach and crossed her arms. "When do you think Nico will get his memory back?"

He grunted. "It depends. That serpent poison kicks as hard as Bruce Lee. He could get it back tomorrow or in a week."

Reyna groaned. A week? "But that's why I'm making this salve," Coach said, "It'll help. I think."

"That's reassuring," she said dryly. Coach glared at her, maybe trying to figure out if what she said was sarcasm, and gave her the small bowl. "Just put this where the burn on his arm was."

She took it and walked through the small path she'd worn into existence and went towards Nico. He hadn't noticed her yet and she allowed herself to look at him. He wore a dark gray shirt with dancing skeletons on it with dark jeans, both wrinkled from the fight. He was facing towards her left, into the trees, one leg propped up on the ground. His arms were leaning on top of his leg and he leaned towards where he was looking, as if he saw something through the trees. His dark brown eyes looked stormy with thought, almost black in the light. "Hey."

He turned towards her. "Hi."

"I have something that'll help." Reyna held the bowl up so Nico could see. "At least, I hope so." He tilted his head to the side a bit, looking at the bowl curiously. Huh. He looks kind of cute like that. She smiled. "Don't worry. It's not poison. You've had enough of that." He smiled. "Yeah, I think so." She found herself liking his smile. It makes him look younger, more his age.

"The satyr, Coach Hedge, made it." She said as she knelt next to him. She found the burn on his sword arm quickly, it wasn't exactly small, and started putting on the salve.

He frowned. I'm not sure he wants to help me, considering the fact that he thought hitting me would help my memory come back."

Reyna let out a short laugh. "Me too, but there's no other choice."

"Yeah, I guess". He winced. Her fingers lifted from his arm. "Sorry."

He shook his head a little. "It's not you...I was just thinking...I thought I remembered something."

She put the bowl next to her knee. Its small wooden structure almost disappeared in the grass. "Oh." The salve must be working quicker than I thought.

Reyna stood up and brushed her jeans off. "Well...Coach said I'd have to reapply the salve again in five hours...so maybe-" A rustling sound came from a tree behind her. As she turned around, Nico stood up and unsheathed his sword, wincing a bit.

"Well, isn't this a surprise. A daughter or Bellona and the only son of Hades. With no protection, as I see."

The voice was cold and feminine. The voice's tone was playful, almost as if she were pleased with the two demigods she found. Not surprising to Reyna, as far as monsters go.

"We're our own protection," Reyna growled. She unsheathed her imperial gold dagger. "Who are you and what do you want?"

"Oh! You want to get right to the point! Well, allow me to introduce myself."

A snowflake fluttered by her eyes and Nico's eyes widened.

"Oh, good! The son of Hades remembers me! Surprising, seeing that the poor boy has lost his memory. Oh, how ironic." The girl's voice laughed.

Reyna wanted to turn to Nico and ask him everything. Who is this chick?! How do you remember her? What happened then? But that would only frustrate him, trying to remember. And she couldn't turn her back on this cold voice. It didn't exactly seem like a girl that wanted to give them cookies.

"Well, if you want to get to the point, daughter of Bellona, then let's get to the point!"

A small blizzard in the shape of a funnel appeared in front of her, swirling snow and ice everywhere. When it dissipated, a girl about her age, glared at her with a cold smile etched on her pale face. Her dark brown eyes gleamed with anticipation.

"I am Khione, Goddess of Snow."

Told you something crazy would happen

HAHAHAHAHA

Khione is making a comeback!

Hopefully, I'll update soon (maybe tomorrow)
