YES A DOUBLE UPDATE
THIS IS AN APOLOGY FOR NEVER UPDATING, AGAIN I AM SO SORRY.
~
Jisung figured that JYP wouldn't be happy with the whole situation, but he didn't expect him to be fuming. He didn't really think that he would kick him out, but with the way he was glaring at Manager Nim, he didn't think twice about JYP's power. He wished that he never had a fit the way he did. He wished that he didn't feel the way he did, and he yet again wished he never even woke up in the first place.
"Jisung." JYP muttered once he caught sight of Jisung, his hardened exterior broke slightly. It hardened back up when he spoke. "Good morning, you all. Before you get the wrong idea, you're not in trouble. Depending on the exact situation, someone might get in trouble, but I would love to speak with Jisung here, first." Stray Kids in a whole agreed by nodding. JYP opened the door to his office, and gestured Jisung in. Jisung tried to smile at the man who might just take his job, but found himself failing. JYP on the other hand brought his palm up to rest on Jisungs frail back, patting it like a father would his son. The rest of the members tried to follow in, as did Manager Nim, but they were stopped by JYP awkwardly smiling.
"Sorry, did I not mention 'alone'? I would like to have a completely unbiased conversation with Jisung-ssi. This is alright, yes?" The only one who dared to argue was the manager. Stray Kids looked pretty upset, but they knew better than to challenge an angry JYP.
"But, sir! As Jisung's closest manager, shouldn't I be allowed in? I would even dare say I'm his personal manager, since you know, I-" JYP looked even scarier than he looked when they came in.
"Mr. Songjun Kang, I suggest you attend to these boys here at the company while they wait for Jisung to finish up. I just mentioned that Jisung and I would speak alone. Are you trying to go against my word?" Manager Kang stuttered a bit, before glaring past JYP to Jisung, who was nervously watching the conversation. Jisung violently flinched and looked to the ground to avoid the glare that was shot like a bullet at him. Neither JYP or Stray kids themselves missed it, and JYP placed his hand on Jisung's shoulder to comfort him.
"Yes, sir. I suppose I should." Kang was bitter, but JYP ignored his brash words. He smiled at the rest of the boys, and shooed them on. They bowed and went to the café, where they would sit and talk until Jisung came down. Jisung was led into the office, the door closed behind him. Thoughts ran through his head like a wildfire. He couldn't stop thinking. What if's were shooting around, bouncing off of eachother like never before. He thought his skin would catch on fire before he calmed down.
"Jisung, sit please." Jisung shook out of his nervous ranting in his head. He sat where JYP suggested, and waited for the conversation to start.
JYP sighed before starting, "The company was contacted this morning at 4 and let know that one of the emergency days was going to be used. You remember Shin Kunyah, right? She was worried and asked why. We were shocked to find that the problems rose around you." JYP paused and scratched his neck.
"I will not lie to you, Jisung, I was worried. You've been at the top of the ranks, even as a trainee. You've been one of my prides and joys for so long. When I was informed that you've been balancing anxiety and possibly depression on top of your career, I was so impressed. You've dealt so well with it all, all while being so great at everything. It's admirable." Jisung was astonished. How could JYP think that? Changbin and Chan were always rivaling his rapping, Seungmin, Jeongin, Minho, Chan, Changbin, Felix, Hyunjin- they all were always singing better, and not to mention their dance, stage presence and everything. And JYP managed to see him among them? He was so shocked he forgot to breathe. He came back to it right when JYP started speaking more.
"I guess everything can go so well, that once it's too good to be true, it is. You put up with it so much, piling it so high, it fell down on top of you, didn't it Sung." It wasn't a question, he knew already. He knew it so well, he didn't need to wait for a response.
"I want to know everything. From when it started, when it started getting too much, and from when it happened. When it collapsed. Can you tell me?"
"Yes."
