16. DESTINY CALLS

Chapter 43 : Meat Thief

Bright brought a glass of warm water to soothe Tine.  After panicking for a while, Tine finally calmed down even though there were still some worries in him.

"What's wrong, Tine?"

Tine glanced right and left looking for a familiar figure but in this house there were only the two of them.  Arthit's husband and one strange man.  Kongpop saw Tine's glance knowing that Tine was looking for Arthit.

"Arthit ... wasn't around."  Kongppp said after a while.

"Where is he? Did he go?"  Tine wanted to ask Arthit if he saw Wayo.  After crying and sleeping all day, Tine woke up but did not see Wayo at home.  Thinking that Wayo was playing over to Arthit's house, Tine visited Arthit's house after a few taps with no answer.  Tried calling Arthit, but his cellphone was not active.  Finally Tine panicked and went out looking for Wayo.

Kongpop's heart breaks when someone asks where his wife is, he also wants to ask where is his wife and baby.  How can he give an answer if he doesn't know the answer himself.

Bright saw Kongpop voiced, finally replied, "Arthit was kidnapped. We are looking for him."

Tine is shocked and scared thinking negatively "How was Arthit kidnapped? Was my brother kidnapped too."

"When did your sister disappear?"

"Yesterday I was too caught up in my sadness to ignore him. This morning, I didn't see him, I looked around but couldn't find him."  Tine feels a failure as a brother, he neglects the responsibility of looking after his younger brother.  This is the second time Wayo has been in danger.

"What is your brother name?"  Bright pressed a few buttons on his cell phone to call out to someone.

"Wayo. My brother's name is Wayo."

Bright said a few words then hung up.  "We'll help find him. You better go home and calm yourself. You see my brother, he's so messed up, just like you."

"B-But how can I calm down, I don't know where my brother is."  Tine started to cry and cry.  Bright had a headache, one person grieved in silence and the other cried.

Feeling the need for fresh air, Bright left to buy food for them.

"You didn't find her!"  Forth growled, he took out a lot of people to find Cherry but no news.  The latest news is the kidnapping of an Omega at the hospital that New and Cherry visited.

"Boss, we found the car by the river but empty."

New looked worriedly, "Phi, do we need to report to the police?"

"Don't be reckless. We need to find out the motive for the kidnapping. Maybe it has nothing to do with Cherry's disappearance. Right now it's not Cherry who they kidnapped."

"B-But ..."

"New, you go home. Leave Cherry's business to Phi."  New wanted to refuse but Forth's men had flanked him on both sides until New was forced to give up.

After New's departure, Forth's men report important things to Forth.  Forth winced, "The one who was kidnapped was Kongpop's wife. The one named Arthit?"

"That's right, boss. The main purpose of this kidnapping is Arthit and the baby. According to the investigation, the suspect in the kidnapping was the doctor who treated him in the past, Doctor Kit. And now he is also missing."

Forth felt something was suspicious, "Investigate this but still focus on looking for Cherry."

"Yes Boss!"

Baby, Wayo and Cherry hold a contest staring at each other subconsciously.  There was only one slice of meat left on the table.  A baby who usually eats a lot, Wayo considers meat to be a substitute for fried chicken and Cherry is never short of food but currently their food is rationed.  There was only one serving of meat on the table and now there was only one left.

"For Yo .. please ... Yo .. Yo ... Hungry."  Wayo almost drooled over the meat.

"Cheery is still hungry too."

Arthit could not bear, he wanted to give in but the baby screamed.  Baby want meat too!

Kit felt dizzy, he did not think these three people were big eaters.  The food he bought would run out quickly at this rate.  It's too risky to get out now.

"How about dividing three? Each of them gets 1/3 of the part" Kit Proposes.  So each person will get 1/3 of the meat.

"NO!!"  All refused firmly.  One piece of meat is a little, especially if it's divided by three.  That's too little.  Just make a dirty teeth.

"Then for Cherry?"

"NOT!"  Wayo refused and the baby too.

"Cherry is a girl, you as men have to give in."

  Baby is baby, not yet real men.

Arthit felt ashamed, did not know what to do.  The baby is so shameless!

"Yo .. Yo .. Yo is still a kid. Not a real man yet."

"Then for baby?"

"NOT!"  Cherry and Wayo refuse.

"Uncle Arthit has eaten a lot of side dishes at the table .."

"It is true."  Wayo agrees with Cherry's reasoning and supports him.

"It's impossible for Wayo."
Wayo felt unfair, "Why! Why can't it be for Yo!"

None of the three of them wanted to budge.  Watching each other so as not to move ahead.  But what is guarded carefully is usually easy for others to steal.

A precious piece of meat, moved in and disappeared in one's mouth.

"Uncle MING !!!!"
