AN ODD ENCOUNTER

"Granger" a deep voice says to the back of my neck making my hair stick up.

Their breath warm against my skin, I can feel their eyes burn right through me. I take a deep breath and say "yes?"

They step closer to me as I hear the floor creak beneath what I assume to be their heavy feet. My skin grows cold. Stay calm. "I heard you are tutoring" the voice growls.

"Yes, I am, what's your point" I reply sternly, turning my head to the side so I can barely see their body.

Their breath hitches at that sudden remark. A sly smirk forms at the tips of my lips. "You are tutoring me" they say as I hear a small laugh leave their mouth.

I turn at that comment, half knowing who it is. "Hello Malfoy" I say through a groan.

He frowns. "What? Not happy to see me again" he grumbles softly.

I glare at him, what a complete arse. "Well for one I think you owe it to me to leave me alone" I say as I strut down the corridor, Draco tailing quickly behind me.

He clearly isn't walking as fast as he can or he would be ahead of me. I can tell by the way he walks as if it is a walk in the park where as I am trying to keep my breathing steady. "I don't owe you anything" he growls at me.

What is it and him growling. God. I stop and turn to face him. "You do" I say staring him straight in the eyes.

He leans closer to my face, just so our mouths are inches from each other. "I do not" he says with a straight face.

I raise an eyebrow, eyeing the distance. Of course there is about none. He turns away quickly, watching Blaise and some fifth year run around. "Can we just get to the tutoring" he asks me, clearly already annoyed.

I scoff. "I will never agree to this" I say pointing a finger at him.

"You will if you want to pass Transfiguration mudblood" he says smugly as he puts my finger down from his face.

I hate that word so much. I hate that smirk. I hate that face. I hate that body, I hate him. I roll my eyes in response instead, pushing my anger down to my stomach and start towards the library. "I'll take that as a yes" he says loudly as he runs after me.

I turn corners fast trying to loose him but it doesn't work. I try walking faster, just about running, doesn't work either. This boy is testing me so much right now. I stop quickly at the library, Draco runs into me and falls back. I let out a laugh as he shakes himself. "What the bloody merlin was that for" he says, rubbing his jaw.

I let out a careless shrug. "Fun to watch you fall at your own mistake" I say.

He stares at me clearly infuriated. I return the favour. "Well you need a tutor, fine, but we do it my way" I say as I walk in heading straight for the Transfiguration Section.

Draco shrugs carelessly as he follows me. I run my finger along the binding of many books. I would say a few dozen in total, picking out one or two and handing them to him. "This is already six books Granger! I think that is more than enough" he says as he solemnly saunters behind me.

"I don't give a damn what you think Malfoy" I tell him as I take two more books. "Now shut up" I snap at him, making him jump back.

Three books later we sit down at the nearest open table. "Lets get this over with" I say under my breath as Draco takes a seat across from me.

"Okay what do you know so far" I ask him as take the top book from the pile and flip through it.

"Granger, pause the tutoring" he says eyeing the book and I.
