BURNING OF THE BURROW

I swiftly turn around. My blood runs cold. Dead cold. "Hello little mudblood" Bellatrix cackles.

I shove myself up and grab Hermione's arm. I pull us closer to the twins and Ginny. Dirt kicks up in the air from underneath my feet in attempt to get my sister away from the psychotic woman. "Is that how you greet your guest?" Bellatrix clicks her tongue to the top of her mouth. "Tsk, tsk, I guess your little parents never taught you anything did they?"

"What do you want?" I shout at her, Ginny putting a arm in front of me so I can't attack Bellatrix in 3.9 seconds.

She dismisses me with a wave and turns to the door. "I want you to tell me where your parents are" she growls at the Weasley siblings, the ones outside that is.

George and Fred step in front of Ginny, shielding her. I can imagine she is glaring at them but I see their reason. I would probably do the same. "Why" Fred growls.

She sighs. "You guys are so boring, if I were you, I would've shot me already with your wand" she nudges her head to our wands in our hands.

I grip my wand. "Stupefy" I shout and point my wand in her direction.

She blocks me everfotlessluy and laughs. "Is that the best you can do deary? Draco has told me all about how powerful you are, but this," she gestures to me, "not a bit of power at all."

I should be angry. I should throw myself at her. No one could stop me. But I hesitate. That, that is my fatal mistake. She giggles. "Locomotor mortis!" she shouts and George hits the ground, his legs stuck together and unable to move.

Fred yells and goes to George's side. Bellatrix uses this moment to run inside the house. I glance to Ginny, then to Hermione, then to Fred. Another fatal mistake for waiting to go after her. Shouts and screams erupt from inside the house. That snaps me out of my daze and I race inside not thinking about anything.

A person dressed in all black runs into me. I startle back, not being able to see their face. They race after me and I quickly analyse how to do this. I race up the winding staircase. Not looking behind me I race up to Ginny's floor. That is where I stop and turn around. "Hello pretty girl" a masculine sounding voice says to me.

I furrow my brows. No hesitation this time, I race into Ginny's room and explode her window open. I take a quick look down to the ground. About 18 meters, which is about 60 feet. Goosebumps form along my covered arms. "You won't" they tease me.

Without thinking I climb up onto the window ledge and just jump. "NO" they scream.

I can't tell if I am screaming as I plummet to the ground. Air rushes around me so fast I swear I can see the miniature particles pass by me. I squeeze my eyes shut, praying to the stars something cushions my fall. "OOF" I grunt as something is crushed underneath me.

My head spins in circles. My eyes blurry. White bleeds in from the corners of my eyes. I feel around for my wand and find it is still safe and unharmed in my pant pocket. I whisper a silent thank you to Hermione for giving me the idea to bewitch my clothes to have a stable protection of the things inside. That doesn't explain the huge crack sound I made when I landed. I try to shift my body, to move. Then a searing pain hits my left leg. I bite my lip harshly so I don't scream.

I hear voices screaming from the far side of the house, where we had the campfire. My ears are ringing with sound so loud and I cover them with my hands. I hope everyone is okay. Mostly everyone that is. My vision clears, letting me take in my surroundings.

I am on the ground. Glass everywhere. I look up and see Ginny's curtains, wishing in and out of the open hole. I look down and see that I lay atop a deatheater. I scramble off quickly, taking very good notice of the way my leg pains. I look down to it and see the gash that Molly had sewn up so wonderfully is now fully open, and to add on from the knee and under, my leg is bent backwards. The sight makes me more dizzy.
