Karl hasn't had much of a good past, which might be why he is standing in front of what would be his seventh apartment complex- but now it is up in flames.
To be honest, he doesn't mean to light places on fire- kinda- but it just happens because she shows up, whether he gets frustrated or he just wants to light something on fire. It's like a heat of the moment thing. (haha get it?) He wants her to stop being everywhere he is, but that doesn't mean he should keep committing arson, even though it seems to be something he enjoys. It also seems to take her off his mind.
He also enjoys running from the police, if they make it to the burning place before Karl runs off at full speed. If Karl gets mesmerized by the flames then it turns into a fun chase where Karl always wins.
Karl is kind of known for being an arsonist, and for robbing many places but what he is really known for is how he always manages to get away without getting arrested. He is very smart with an IQ of 137, so it makes sense how he can always get himself out of being thrown in prison.

When he commits arson or when he is running from the police, he gets this ecstatic feeling in his stomach and it's like an obsession.
warning over
He just can't stop.
His mom, who somehow doesn't know about him committing arson constantly, says he should get some friends or go back to school, but he dropped out of his first year of college and doesn't plan on going back.
Of course Karl has some friends but they tell him to stop lighting buildings on fire whenever he gets pissed off, but he just can't stop- no matter how hard he tries which eventually becomes a problem, but maybe not for the worst.

A/N I know this is a very short chapter but I didn't really know how to start this story off so this gives me something to start the first actual chapter off with. Regardless I hope you all enjoyed this and I have big plans for this so yeah I'm excited for that. I will try to have the next part out soon!
