A/N I'm rather proud of this chapter. ToomyVara, you have no idea how much I'm thanking you for letting me adopt this story.

"Sophie!!!!!" Biana squealed.

"Bia," Sophie said with a small smile.

The ride from California to London had taken about one day (go with it), and by the end of it,all Sophie wanted to do was sleep. Instead she had been greeted by a group of exuberant friends, a mom who was checking her over, and a dad who was lecturing her.

Not that she minded.

Snador cleared his throat. "I suggest Lady Foster go to bed. She has had quite an, let just say, adventure."

Edaline's face immediately shifted to worry. "Of course," Edaline said, shooing everybody out.

"Bye!!!!!" Biana & Marella hollered.

Sophie cringed and waved bye. "See you guys tomorrow!"

Edaline ushered Sophie in.

"Can I have some Mallowmelt first? I'm hungry," Sophie said, stopping.

"Well....." Grady started.

"Pleeeeeeeease?" Sophie begged. Edaline gave Grady that look, and Grady muttered a fine.

After five slices of Mallowmelt, Sophie went and collapsed on her, falling asleep almost instantly.

Sophie was woken by soft pressure on her lips.

Still half-asleep, she peeked through her lashes to see Keefe's ice blue eyes in front of hers. She closed them again and responded to his mouth on hers, returning the kiss before asking,

"What are you doing here? And what time is it?"

"To answer your second question, it's sometime near midnight. As for your first one...You said you would see me later," Keefe grinned.

"I meant tomorrow later, not midnight!" Sophie groaned quietly.

"I couldn't sleep. And I wanted to show you something."

She sighed and sat up. "How did you even get here?"

"I have my ways," he answered. "Now come with me."

Sophie patted down her pineapple hair and climbed out of bed. She pulled on her boots and joined Keefe at the window, where he was standing half in and half out of her room. He climbed all the way out, grabbed Sophie's hand, and levitated them both toward the ground.

As they padded through the grass, Sophie asked Keefe, "waking me up with a kiss? What's up with that?" She wasn't upset about it. In fact, it was a nice way to wake up. But why?

Keefe shrugged. "I figured you would wake up, and it prevented you from screaming. It was a win-win."

Sophie rolled her eyes. "No other reason, huh?"

"Also because... I can do that now," Keefe admitted with a little smile. Sophie was also glad he could do that now.

She smiled and squeezed his hand. "What are you showing me?"

"You'll see."

They kept walking, and finally a hill near the palace.

"Well?"

Keefe simply pointed up. Sophie looked, and gasped. The sky was filled with more stars than Sophie had ever seen in her life.

But the really amazing thing was the swirls of color that weaved through the stars. There were strands of silver, gold, and other colors Sophie didn't have names for. They were spread across the sky in such a beautiful pattern, it took her breath away.

"Do you like it?" Keefe asked.

"It's beautiful," Sophie breathed, her voice full of awe. She threw her arms around Keefe's neck and kissed him full on the mouth.

She felt him relax and put his arms around her. She pulled away, resting her head on his shoulder, and they sat in silence, staring at the sky until Sophie's eyelids drooped.

Keefe stood up, scooped Sophie into his arms, and walked toward the castle.

He then levitated up and through her window and set her on her bed. "Thank you," Sophie murmured.

Keefe simply kissed her cheek and left. That was all she needed.

Sophie fell back asleep immediately, and unlike every night she had spent in the healing center in California, she slept peacefully. No nightmares.

A/N It's my birthday BTW
