Confusion (Codys P.O.V)

Trent and I are roommates of course, we are a part of the drama brothers so we all share a cozy little apartment! But Trent and I are really close, ever since Gwen and Duncan got together of course, and when I got a restraining order on Sierra he was there for me all throughout the legal issues. Now I wouldn't say that me and Trent are the absolute best of friends, we don't get along sometimes but hey that's roommates for you.
Recently Trent has been acting.. different to say the least.. he dazes off into no where, I hope he's okay I mean he was supposed to teach me guitar but when he runs off saying he's tired, it's like he doesn't care about our friendship. Maybe his interview was long, I'll just have to see when it's out tomorrow. For now I need some rest.
       *** the next morning ***
I wake up and head to the kitchen as always, Trent was hunched over the coffee machine,
         "Hey Trent! What's up?" I say rubbing my eyes.
          "Oh uh nothing." He looks at me, his eyes are red from crying or some sort of sleep deprivation,
          "Woah dude, your eyes are red. You good?" I grab a mug from the cupboard,
           "Yeah just some uh trouble sleeping that's all." He sips his coffee.
            "Oh, well if you need anything I'm here!" I say grabbing coffee,
            "No no," he yawns "I'm completely fine" Trent walks over to the couch and sits on it.
            "Okay.." I walk over to the couch and sit next to him, "well I hope you sleep better tonight"
             "I'll try to, but for now I just want to watch some tv" we both grab for the remote, our hands touch. I pull my hand away and allow him to grab the remote, he puts on some re-run of an old show. We sit in silence as it plays, for some reason we are both tense as if something happened, I'm never this tense! I sit drinking my coffee until I feel a head fall onto my lap, Trent had fallen asleep and used my lap as a pillow. I kept still, barely breathing, he was exhausted obviously so I didn't want to wake him, I just looked down at him, sleeping so peacefully. The world was so quiet in that moment, nothing could interrupt it.
