I woke up in a dark room. I was alone, and while I struggled to move, I realized I was tied to a bed.
"What the fuck?" I whispered. Just as I was going to yell for help, my mouth was covered by a hand and a cloth. I couldn't explain what I was inhaling, all I knew was it was making me drowsy.

Though, whatever it was wasn't strong enough to knock me out. I closed my eyes in hopes to trick this person into thinking I was out. Surprisingly enough, it worked. They turned a light on, and I cracked a peek at whoever was in this room with me. All I could make out was a female body, covered entirely with black clothing. No hopes there.

I quickly shut my eyes again as they walked over towards the bed I was tied to. I felt cold fingers running up my leg. My stomach felt sick, all I could think about was finding Nicole. She's out there somewhere probably alone and scared and hurting. I'm... Here. Tied to a strange ladies bed.

"Oh, my. If only you would have listened..." I heard a voice say, while those same cold fingers stroked my cheek. The room was already dark, but some light had been peeking through the blinds. Next thing I knew, the blinds were shut and there was a weight lying on top of my body.

- Mark's Mother's POV -

I sat alone in my bedroom, worried sick. Mark hasn't called, nor texted in days. I tried to get a hold of Nicole, and that failed too. What if they are in trouble? What if they're missing, or dead?

My heart began to race. I didn't know how to feel. The only other person in the house was Laney and I had to be strong for her. She couldn't see me worry, it has a negative influence on children her age.

I picked up my cell phone and took a deep breath. If I stayed calm making this call, there won't be any worries about Laney overhearing. I dialed the numbers "911" and pressed call.

Breath... Breath Lauren.

"911, what is your emergency?"

"Um, yes. I'd like to file a missing persons report."

"Alright, ma'am. Can I get your name as well as the persons name? Also, tell me when you last saw/heard from them."

"My name is Lauren Wagner. The missing persons name is Marcus Wagner... He is 17 years old and the last time I heard from him was three days ago. He was at the Mariott Hotel off the freeway, staying with his girlfriend. I've tried to contact them both several times and no response. I drove past the hotel, and his car wasn't there. Officer, I'm worried-" I took a deep breath to calm down, and wiped my eyes. "I don't know what else to do."

"Alright, Lauren. We will notify you if we have any leads. The report has been filed. I hope everything turns out alright."
