Prologue

Sara Kimura the once wonderful woman whom met her supposed soulmate in high school. Who brought a smile to his supposedly stoic face. She was beautiful and kind but sometimes people change. Whether it is for better or for worse I can't really tell you but one thing is for sure. When your loyalty changes that can only mean trouble. You see life isn't about betrayal...in fact is there such a thing as betrayal? I believe it's all in where the loyalty lies, for some people it's with their friends, their family etc. Then there are others, who have loyalty only to themselves and that is exactly what happened to Sara.

She had cheated on her husband of 13 years. The 36 year old should have known better, emphasis on 'should have'. You see it's too late now. He was so mad, upset, hurt, broken...however you want to say it. She wasn't only stupid enough to cheat on her husband of 13 years but to do it despite having a son with him, thirteen year old Shinki. This left her with an ugly divorce and custody of her only child was limited to weekends. Her husband wasn't some looser good for nothing, no. He was a successful businessman from a family that was like royalty. His relationship with his father was however not the greatest but his siblings were always there and though he was once alone this successful man known as none other than 37 year old, Gaara no Sabaku had recently remarried. It was like her mistakes were decorated and put up on the wall for everyone to see.

However this story is not about Sara but rather about a woman who managed to fix the broken. They say the first cut is the deepest...but what if, the second comes with stitches? Because his new wife was sure something...

24 year old, Y/n no Sabaku previously a L/N. She was a young, intelligent , athletic, sweet, caring, loving, and the list goes on. The woman was not everything Sara used to be...no she was so much more. Sara hated her because she had only thought Gaara loved her for her great body, beautiful young wrinkle-less face and the fact that any imperfections on her face only enhanced her beauty but for him it was her charismatic personality. It is no wonder Gaara fell so hard for her. She was naturally an eccentric and loving woman.

It honestly didn't sit too well with Sara. She messed up...yes, but only for a 12 year younger woman to come in and take away what she had? She never felt it was right. All she had left of her broken marriage was Shinki and though she hated to do it she tried so hard to get him to hate Y/N...for the most part it works because Shinki doesn't really like Y/N but she tries hard to earn his approval. So does she eventually?
