It was a normal day and Y/N was getting ready for her daily walk whilst Gaara and Shinki had breakfast. Gaara smiled as he finished his breakfast cleaning up after himself he walked towards Y/N kissing her forehead as she smiled hugging him as Shinki rolled his eyes.

"Dad you have work." He stated matter of factly as Y/N smiled ignoring his anger towards her just simply seeing a boy who cares deeply for his father. Gaara sighed kissing his wife one last time as he grabbed his briefcase heading to the door as Shinki got up putting on his backpack muttering an almost inaudible 'bye' to Y/N before putting his earphones in his ears. Y/N just smiled saying goodbye as she headed to meet the neighborhood women for her daily walk.

"Oh Y/N stop it! You have to just give him time he has a mother poisoning his mind, he will eventually see who is better." Mei, one of the neighbourhood woman, said with a smile as Y/N smiled thoughtfully.

"She is jealous you are young and beautiful and stole her ex-husband's heart, that's all. It's her loss anyway." Kurenai chirped with a tired smile seeing as she had just given birth to her baby Mirai and was having a break from her tiring and busy life.

"I see..." Y/N said smiling. Y/N was much younger than all the rest of them they were all over thirty and she was in her early twenties. Y/N used to work in the real estate market and became very successful at a young age catching the attention of none other than Gaara no Sabaku. Initially their romance was tricky seeing as they both were 13 years apart but Gaara didn't seem to care as he fell in love all the same. She mended his broken heart and she found love. They both ended up married and living a beautiful life however the only problem was Shinki not really liking her.

Y/N got home after her long walk and began her work. She worked from home so she chose her hours. She worked for a bit before heading to pick up Shinki. She got into her top of the range, Land Rover SUV as she drove to pick Shinki up. All she wore was a normal summer dress with a pair of stilettos and already had men willing to fall at her feet. Shinki rolled his eyes at his 'mother' whom was oblivious to all the attention she was getting. As they got in the car she smiled asking him about his day but he cut her off with short dead answers. She smiled at him nodding her head not wanting to irritate him further. She had got home only to see Gaara had already arrived early today. She smiled as her mood brightened knowing her husband was home. As the got out of the car she ran towards the door after locking the car helping Shinki carry his project from school. She placed the project down rushing towards the stairs as she saw Gaara on the phone walking on the upper level of their house. She smiled as she ran to hug him causing him to smile as the call ended he hugged her back smiling even more at his sweet wife.

"You must have thought I would be late Y/N." He said with a laugh as she nodded smiling at him. They both headed to cook dinner as enjoyed spending some time together. Gaara smiled a small smile as he gave Y/N a spoonful of the savoury rice they cooked together as she nodded eagerly enjoying the food thoroughly.

The week had rushed by quickly and Saturday had approached. It had been one of those days that the couple would have to see Sara. A blue car had arrived and Gaara walked out of the house with Shinki safely putting him in his mothers care as Sara got out of the car wearing a dress far to tight and revealing for it to be normal. Gaara sighed at the thought of leaving his son in this woman's care.

"Hello Shinki, Gaara." Sara said as she smiled at Gaara causing him to let off a smile that looked more like a grimace. "Where is that young girl?" Sara asked with a mixture of sarcasm and curiosity.

"She is not a young girl she is my wife." Gaara said slightly annoyed as Sara's remark. "She is resting..." He said with a frown.

"Oh they kids of this generation I tell you." Sara said as Y/N suddenly walked out the balcony rubbing her eyes wearing a summer dress that clung perfectly to her curves accentuating her beautiful figure with her hair falling on her face perfectly. A smile played on her lips as she waved at Sara who just nodded with a fake smile. Y/N ignored her rudeness and made her way down stairs. Shinki gave Y/N a bored goodnight while she smiled giving him a hug which he accepted but didn't return. Gaara frowned at this pulling his wife close to him as Sara and Shinki got in the car.

"I don't like the way they treat you not one bit." Gaara said clenching his fist as he walked back in the house with Y/N.

"It's okay Gaara, I love you~ so I don't care how they treat me." Y/N said opening the door as they both walked in.

"I love you too and we definitely have to do something about their behaviour, Shinki spending the weekend with the very woman who poisons his mind doesn't sit well with me." Gaara said as he contemplated his next words that have been on his mind for quite sometime.

"Is there something on your mind?" Y/N asked as she guided Gaara to the sofa sitting in his lap as he smiled at her.

"Y/N...we have been married for a year and we know each other for even longer...I-I was wondering if maybe we could...have a baby?" Gaara said as Y/N's eyes widened a small smile crept onto her face.

"I would love to!" She said kissing his lips as he smiled at her.
