Gaara's POV

The weekend had approached fast as Sara made sure to show up early to wake both my wife and I up. Her annoyed face as Y/N walked down the stairs was so worth seeing. There wasn't much interaction between Y/N and her this time thankfully but I was ready to go to Y/N's defence should Sara step out of line. She married me and Sara disrespecting her does not come with the package I will ensure she knows that.

"Well hello to you Gaara~" She smiled as her brown hair swayed softly however instead of a beautiful aura it gave an almost witch like form.

"Y/N is here too, aren't you? My angel~" I spoke up making my beautiful wife slightly flustered as she nodded bashfully squirming under my gaze making me smirk at her submissive nature.

"Oh I didn't see you there?" Sara shot back as I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah comes with age~" I said as Y/N choked making my crack a small smile while Sara frowned gritting her teeth. "So you're here to take Shinki or what?" I asked as she cleared her throat putting her fake smile back on.

"Yes! Where is my baby?" She asked as he stepped down ready with his bags.

"Hey Mom..." He muttered giving her a hug as he strode towards us saying his goodbyes for the weekend.

"Bye Dad, bye Y/N..." He said giving Y/N a hug and for the first time it wasn't forced.

"By dear." She smiled as he nodded acknowledging her. Looks like someone is making progress...

Thereafter we saw the two off before heading inside.

"Y/N! Were going visiting today..." I shouted from the bottom of the stairs as she turned in excitement.

"Oh who?!"

"My cousin...you may want to prepare yourself he's a little weird..." I didnt know when was the last time I saw him. He was a bureaucrat here in Suna and a smart one at that but at times tended to have a bit of a...sadistic nature...but I guess that makes two of us.

The day went slowly as we got ready to head out. Seeing Y/N in a maternity dress her big baby bump looking so cute. "You look yummy- I mean lovely!" I corrected myself regaining my composure as she quickly placed her palms on her cheeks.

"Gaara!"

"I'm sorry it just slipped out but its not a lie though...I could eat you right here~" I said as she pushed me rushing to the car making me chuckle at her retreating form.

We arrived at the massive house belonging to that side of the family...The Akabane's... (Yes ladies and gentlemen😏 the gorgeous man is here😏🤚) They were very famous seeing as the whole family is largely respected and played a big part in the establishment of modern day Suna. Lots of what exists today be it businesses, housing or the general foundation of Suna was brought by the Akabane's along with the Sabaku's governing Suna and a third family responsible for health care and scientific research, The Akasuna's. Sara was actually the adopted daughter of the Akasuna family and for a long time they raised her like their own child. That was until the cheating scandal. Part of the estrangement was the ruining of the ties with my family however we have managed to fix that, but for the most part it was that she chose to cheat with 'him'. Was 'he' an enemy of their family at the time...I suppose?

But it was the things 'he'd' done in the past, infact he even married Sara's brothers ex girlfriend. He was known to break hearts and seeing Suna squirm in his palm made him feel so much joy. Of course seeing me break was something he found joy in but of course that was cut short when it was his own sister that fixed me...

We walked up the stairs to the front door as my cousin welcomed us, his amber eyes shining with delight as. Rolled my eyes.

"Save it Karma."

"Awww~ I just wanted to have some fun~" Karma said pouting as he turned eyes darting over to Y/N as he licked his lips hungrily. "And what is this?" He asked smirking. "A baby? You didn't even let me know?" He said in fake sadness as I scowled.

"Eyes to yourself."

"What makes you think you can control my eyes?" He said smiling dangerously as I scoffed pushing past him as I took Y/N inside.

"Hi cutie~" He said giving a teasing smile making Y/N go rigid.

"Shut up you're making her uncomfortable you idiot."

"Yeah, yeah shes no fun anyway. Probably waits for you to come home." He said making my smile.

"Yeah sometimes I get to wait for her too." I added as he laughed giving a smile.

"Cute."

"So...Hi?" Y/N said as he darted his eyes to her once again.

"Hello dear...The names Akabane...Karma Akabane."

"Oh! Y/N...Y/N L/N."

"L/N?" He said smirking. "What a nice change." He said as she gulped.
