Kendal had on a black sweater with white writing, jeans,Retro 13s, and a bucket hat to match. She was putting on her red lipstick for her finishing touch. She was going out with Corey, and they've been communicating for only a few weeks. Her arm is still a little bad, but will heal in no time the doctor says. She still thinks about August sometimes, she misses him kind of and know Kayden does too. Kayden was at Kia's house for a little till Kendal come home from being with Corey.

"I'm outside love" The text message read sent from Corey.

Kendal grabbed her Michael Kors hand wallet, her phone, and headed out the door. Corey hopped out the car and went on the other side to open the door for her. "Hey gorgeous" He spoke. "Hello" She said smiling and got into the car. She put on her seatbelt and sat back. He got back into the car, put on his seatbelt,and he drove off.

"So, where are we going?" She asked and looked at him. He looked at her and smiled "Why little nosey?" He joked. "Cause I just want to know, you might be kidnapping me and I don't even know about it" She said and laughed. "No, I wouldn't do that" Corey's phone was plugged into the Aux. The next song that played was " Easy Love by Dej Loaf" Kendal had her mouth wide opened and looked at him "This is my fucking song!" Kendal kind of yelled. She turned it up and began singing along. Corey looked at her looking shocked, he didn't know she could sing and he thought that she sound a little better than Dej Loaf. He kind of turned it down and still looked shocked "So how come I didn't know you could sing like that?" He asked. She raised her eyebrow and flip her hair "Because you were just gonna have to find out, I wasn't going to tell you" She said and kind of poked her lips out. "You little bug" He called her. She liked it when he called her lil bug, she just smiled and got on her phone.

They finally arrived to their destination. Kendal was looking at the building not knowing what it is "What is this?" She asked. "Well let us go in so we can see" He said. They both got out the car, a few people caught their attention because the way they were dressed and the car they just got out of. When they walk in there was a bar, a few tables and chairs, a dance floor, and a stage. "What is this Corey?" She asked again, getting a little frustrated. "This is like a little night club, but tonight is mic night. They will do a few dancing, and then people willl go up there and sing, rap or whatever they wanna do. I was gonna sing, but I figured I didn't want to do it." He said. Kendal raised her eyebrow "You can sing? Dude, you better go up there and sing for me" She said. He smirked "I'll do it if you sing with me" She quickly shook her head and was kind of waving her hand "No no noo, I don't sing in front of a crowd. I never sung in front of a big ass crowd." Corey smacked his lips and poked his bottom lip out "Please! For me bestfriend?" He said and was staring at her with his glossy eyes that she loved. She rolled her eyes and smiled "Fine..' "Yay!"

"Now everyone, I want y'all to give it up for 2 lovely people. We have a female and a male singing together. This should be good, please give round of applause to Kendalynn and Corey!" The announcer said into the microphone. Kendal and Corey walked onto the stage with microphones in their hands. Kendal heard some of the people in the crowd saying her name like they never heard it before, and some people laughing. She became really nervous. "Take off your hat!" A female yelled to Kendal in the crowd. Kendal looked at Corey and he nodded. She didn't want to take off her hat, it was covering her eyes and half of her nose. She thought some people were gonna notice that she is August's baby mama. She slowly took off her hat and placed it on the floor. Some boys in the crowd whistled at her beauty and all that stuff. The music started and they were getting ready to sing I'm Not The Only One by Sam Smith. As soon as they began singing, people were clapping and cheering, some even got up on the dance floor and danced.

2 Hours Later

Kendal and Corey were walking around the park, a few other couples were there. "So, wassup. You haven't talked to August?" He asked. She scoffed "Not lately, I kind of miss him" She said quietly. He looked at her and became a little upset. He started to have feelings for her, but hearing her say she misses August kind of killed him. "Try to hit him up, have a long talk" He said, but didn't really want to. She shook her head "No, he told me not to hit him up anymore. So I won't.." She said and looked down at her shoes. "Well can I tell you something?" She nodded "Wassup?" He kinded of sighed and stopped her from walking. "I'm starting to have feelings for you, and I don't want that nigga to keep breaking your heart and shit. I'll let you think about who you want, but I know you want August right now. I think you should do more thinking though, see who'll treat you better" He said a little cocky and touched her chin. She smiled and looked at the time. "Well, it's getting late. I know my baby waiting on me to come home" She said. Corey raised his eyebrow "Baby? Damn, you got another nigga too?" He joked. "Shut upppppp, but hey can you go by her house so I can go get him" She nicely asked. "Nah, you told me to shut up" He said while having his back facing her, arms folded, and poked his bottom lip out. She laughed "I am soo sorry Corey" She said and was smiling. "Say it louder, so the whole world can hear." He said and turned around to look at her. "I AM SOO SORRY COREY!" She yelled and was shaking him at the same time. They laughed and he wrapped his arms around her waist "I had a great time tonight Miss. Kendal" He said quietly and was staring at her lips. "I had a great time as well Mr.Corey" They began looking at each other, he pulled her in closer and began leaning in. Her breathing slowed down and she was slowly leaning in too. They kissed for a good 15 seconds, but she pulled away. "Whats wrong?" He asked. She shook her head and looked down "We need to give this some more time, we only been hanging out for a few weeks. I need to know you waaaaay better" She said quietly trying not to disappoint him. He nodded "Yeah, you right"

They got out the car and Corey picked up Kayden as he was sleep in the back seat. Kendal opened the door and Corey satKayden on the bed. She smiled and said "Thank you, and thank you for that wonderful date" He popped his collar and stuck out his tongue. "You know how I do, but you're welcome beautiful" He said to her. They were both ended up staring at each other for a long time. Corey was actually digging her everyday they talk and hang. Kendal really liked him, but misses August like crazy.
All Corey wanted to do was get August off her mind.

"Oh fuck!" Kendal moaned out to Corey as he was pounding in her. "Who's your daddy for now on?" He spoke as he pulled her hair. She didn't answer, she got quiet. He looked at her while her face was against the couch, her mouth wide open, and her face scrunched up. "I said who's your daddy for now on??" Corey asked again, but kind of yelled. "Mmmm, you are baby" She said and was trying to push him away. He was tooo big for her, and she really couldn't even handle. He pulled out and turned her on her back. August was acting like a punk she thought, and she needed him. She missed the times they used to spend together, and all that stuff. She hasn't even seen his nieces in forever. She thinks that he turned them against her and they probably don't like her anymore. She just threw her phone on the floor and cried herself to sleep....
