*Move Day*

Kia was helping Kendal and Kayden with their things. Kendal was just smiling, she was ready to go and leave Texas. She hasn't communicated with anybody. Kayden was jumping around and being excited about moving. Guessing he was ready to move as well. "Give me a hug Kaydy" Kia said. He jumped on her and gave her a hug "I'll miss you Liakia" He said. They called each their nicknames and Kia felt like she wanted to cry. Kendal shut the truck door and looked at Kia. Her eyes were watering and she was smiling. "Noo, don't cry Kia" Kendal said and smiled. "Damn, I'm gone miss y'all. Kayden was my favorite lil man to babysit, he's my little bestfriend. Then you..you are just a good ass friend Kendal. You're really the only female I fuck with but now you got to go" She said while tears were rolling down her face. "Awww, Ima miss you too" Kendal laughed and hugged Kia tight. Kia was a beautiful 20 year old, she babysits but only like to babysat Kayden. She only had a few friends but she always was around Kendal most of the time. And seeing them go killed her. Kendal pulled back and smiled "You know what to do tomorrow right?" Kendal asked. "Yes" "Alright, bye baby girl. Love you" Kendal said and got in the car. "Love you too" Kendal and Kayden waved at Kia and Kia waved back. Kendal pulled out the drive way and began her drive to Califronia. Kia laughed, got in her car and drove off.

*Next Day*

August was in his car and sighed. He looked at the little black box and looked at the time. "You ready to do this?" Jazmine asked. "Yeah, I am." He said. He pulled out of Jazmine's drive way and was on their way to Kendal's house. When he pulled up he saw Kendal's exes and a few old friends standing outside. "Why everybody standing outside?" He asked . Jazmine looked confused as well and shrugged. They both got out the car and August went to some of Kendal's old friends. "Why y'all outside?" "She told us to wait out here real fast" One of the girls said. "Well go knock on the door and get into position" Jazmine told him. "Ight" August pulled the little black box out his pocket, knocked on the door, and got on one knee. The door slowly opened "I'm sorry guys but-" Kia got cut off by seeing how August was. He closed the box and got up. "Where's Kendal?" He asked looking confused. "Well she moved." She said. "Oh, what's the address?" He asked. "No, she literally moved. She's moving back to California, she probably already made it though. She didn't want anyone to know until she got there" She said for everyone to hear. Everybody started talking and August just shook his head "What time did she leave?" He asked. "Like 5 or 6 in the morning" She said softly. His face looked like it turned red and he went back to his car and drove off.

Kendal and Kayden made it but Kayden was sleep. She had men putting her things back in the house and she was standing outside looking at the neighborhood. It's the same as always, Palm trees, kids riding bikes, and elders watering plants. But she was in a neighborhood with people around her age and kids that could play with Kayden. She loved the feeling all over again. "We're done ma'am" One of the men said. "Thank you guys so much" She paid them and they left. She laid Kayden on the couch and began fixing the house around.

When she was finished, it was around 5 in the afternoon. Her and Kayden was playing around in their new house. They both loved the feeling and they were happy as ever. People greeted them and welcomed them to the neighborhood. "You want to go see granny and grandpa?" She asked Kayden. Kayden was catching his breath and he nodded his head while looking confused. Kayden never met Kendal's parents or her aunt. They fixed their selves up and they left. They walked to the door and Kendal knocked on the door softly. It took a while for someone to open the door and when it finally opened. Kendal saw her mother standing there smiling. "Baby!" She yelled and hugged Kendal tightly. "I missed you mama" She laughed and hugged back. "I missed you more, and you looking so beautiful. Getting all that pretty hair from me" She said and smiled. Kendal laughed and looked down at Kayden hiding behind her legs. "Mama, this is my baby boy Za'Kayden, everyone calls him Kayden though" Kendal pushed him a little towards her. Kendal's mother was looking down at him and smiling while he was smiling back with his finger in his mouth. "How old are you man?" She asked him . He held up 3 fingers and she looked at Kendal real quick. "Damn child! It took me this long to finally meet my grand baby?" "I'm sorry mama"
