*The Next Day*

Kendal and Kayden were at the public pool that were a couple of blocks from her house. There wasn't a lot of people there though, but everywhere Kendal goes. A group of boys always stare. By the way, it's Kendal's birthday today. She just wants to hang with Kayden all day. They started off going shopping first, a indoor trampoline park, and swimming. Kayden was just in the 2ft of water. Kendal was just laying down in the chair. She felt the group of guys staring and she sighed. "Why y'all keep looking at me?" She asked them and took off her sun glasses at the same time. They all looked at each other and laughed. "Cause you fine as hell, I over heard your little brother say it's your birthday. Happy birthday" one of the dark skin guys said . She looked at him crazy and chuckles "Little brother? Dude, that's my son" The dark skin boy got quiet and the others laughed. She got up and got in the pool with Kayden "Having fun baby?" She asked him. "I'm ready to go now" he said and climbed out the pool. "Me too" He grabbed his towel and wrapped it around him, she grabbed hers and did the same. She felt hands go across her ass, she quickly turned around and punched the person. "DAAMNNN" The group of boys yelled. She punched the dark skin boy in his mouth and looked at him crazy "Don't fucking touch my ass, I'm too old for your young ass anyway. Fucking childish ass 19 year old" She yelled and grabbed her things. He was covering his mouth of the pain and got mad "But ain't you 19 too?" He yelled. "Hell nah, I'm 28 years old." She spat, she grabbed Kayden's hand and walked away fast.

Kendal was feeling good about not having a man , or having feelings for anybody. She felt kind of free for the first, the only boy she needs is Kayden. Her feelings for August are completely gone and doesn't want to deal with him anymore. Sometimes she thinks she wish she would have never met him.

It was around 8pm when her and Kayden made it home. They were just watching movies, she ordered pizza and wings. Kayden was mostly trying to eat up everything. They were watching Pitch Perfect and they both knew every song. While she was in the middle of singing she heard the door knock and they kept repeatedly ringing the door bell. Kendal and Kayden stopped and looked at the door with their scrunched up faces. They're so much alike. "Just keep singing" She told Kayden. They continued singing and the doorbell continued ringing. When the song was over Kayden smacked his lips "Stop it!" He yelled with his squeaky voice. Kendal laughed at him and pat his shoulder. "It's okay, Mommy's got it" She pulled down her shorts from the riding up and started walking towards the door "Whoever this is I'm about to knock your ass out and you gone learn when to stop fuckin-" She got cut off by seeing August standing there smiling. She frowned and tried shutting the door, but he stopped it with his foot. "Listen to what I have to say Kendal" He said. She shook her head "No, I don't give a fuck what you have to say. You never mean the shit you say" She kind of yelled. "Just hear me out, please" He said. She sighed and folded her arms "Speak..." He sighed as well and grabbed her hand "Kendal, Kendal, Kendal. Baby girl when I first laid my eyes on you I was just like damn she bad as fuck. When you met me for the first time you just couldn't believe it, you was all nervous and shit. Calling me your boo, deep down knowing I wanted to say boo back to you. We been through it all baby, and I can't believe we even made it this far. I never knew I was going to have a child of my own and meeting a beautiful girl like you. You're like my ride or die. I had your back and you had mine. We both been through the struggle, now look at us. We Glo'd up..." He said and they both laugh "Kendalynn, you just don't know how much I love you and my son Za'Kayden. Our little mini-me. All I want to do is spend the rest of my life with you and my son. That's all I want baby girl..." He continued, he looked over Kendal's shoulder and saw Kayden singing a song from the movie. He smiled at him and pulled a little black box out his pocket. He got on one knee then opened it. Kendal's eyes got wide and covered her mouth. "I know you don't have feelings for me anymore and stuff. But I just want to change that baby girl, All I just want you to be mine again. And ONLY mine. So Kendalynn, will you marry me?" He said and smiling. The tears were rolling from her eyes and covered her whole face. "Is that a yes?" He asked all worried. She nodded her head and her grabbed her left hand, he then put the ring on her finger and she hugged him really tight. "I love you August" She said and cried. "I love you more Baby" he said then kissed her cheek......
