You knew this was coming, yet you still chose to do this and now you're in trouble

Jeongin had woken up early as usual. With a coffee on his hand, he entered the laboratory and turning on the lights. He froze when he saw a sleeping Hyunjin on the corner of the room.

He quickly rushed to the said male, worrying about the different papers messing the table.

"Hyung... wake up! What happened?" Jeongin shakes the older boy gently so he can wake up.

A groan escaped Hyunjin's mouth as he started to rub his eyes, opening them to let himself be awake. He was faced with Jeongin being only inches away from him. Now he is starting wonder if he was dead or not. How can someone look this cute?

Did I just fell asleep while studying?

"Oh..um, hi good morning. Sorry about the mess." Hyunjin yawned as he started fixing up the papers from the table.

"Did you not go home? And what's with all these papers?" Jeongin took one paper and saw about the secret project they were doing.

Hyunjin just sighed and stood up, rubbing his face to completely wake him up from sleepiness.

"Hyung, what's all this? Were you studying about our leader?" Jeongin whispered at him and started to pick up other papers too.

"I don't know, Jeongin. I feel like there's something wrong about the system we built inside of his brain." Hyunjin furrowed his eyebrows, scanning through the computer and walking to go to the coffee machine.

"What do you mean by something wrong to what we implanted? We made sure everything was placed right and the information that Chan needed to function is also implanted." Jeongin asked again, curiousity was hitting on him really bad.

"I'm afraid we're losing control of him, Jeongin. There is something that is happening yet we don't know about it, only CB97. There is a chance that it will shut down and we can't control him anymore." Hyunjin explained as he examined Chan's movements through the computer, nothing unsual at the moment.

"But... that's only possible if he already remembered everything and woken up from this temporary amnesia." Jeongin added, wanting to give an explanation too about the mystery that was happening.

Hyunjin froze on his spot as realization hit him hard. Could it be possible that Chan was starting to remember things? Of course it is possible since Chan is a human himself through heart and brain. But the danger doesn't go there. It goes to where Chan and where he stays right now.

"Well shit...!! If Minho hyung finds out, he will be in danger!" Hyunjin panicked and quickly dismissing the computer and his coffee.

"What... what do we do?" Jeongin panicked as well, trying his best to think straight.

"What we should have done a long time ago." Hyunjin wore his coat, as for Jeongin to nod and hid the papers well.

Hyunjin took a deep breath before he looked at Jeongin and took his hand tightly. That might sent some chills and butterflies on Jeongin's stomach, but who cares about that right now?

"I expect that you guard this house and clean it once I go back." Minho instructed as he fixed his school uniform.

Chan remained silent for a little while, answering a 'Yes, sir' after. He gripped tight on a broom, slightly looking away from the younger boy's eyes.

Minho noticed about the unusual behavior of his AI roommate, he glanced behind him and saw Chan was just gripping on the broom silently.
