Chapter 5: Collateral Damage

Mic yelled to All Might and Eraserhead as he saw Hecate fall. The of them quickly fought off the villains. All Might had restrained the villans and was awaiting the police. Aizawa ran over to Y/N and picked her up gently, he felt a pang in his heart as he saw the blood covering her face. He reached for her neck to feel for a pulse. "She's still alive" he sighed with slight relief.

Hizashi walked over and knelt down beside the two as they awaited the ambulance. "This is my fault.." Hizashi whispered, his usual cheery demeanor becoming solemn and full of guilt.

Aizawa shook his head "It isn't your fault Mic..." he trailed off as the ambulance arrived. Aizawa scooped Y/N up and ran to the sirens. He set her down gently on the gurney. As he turned to go assist All Might he felt a tiny squeeze on his hand. Aizawa snapped his head back as Hecate coughed up a little blood "T-thank...you" she choked out with a small smile.

The ambulance sped away as the three heroes stood in silence. Each man having a heavy heart as they saw her leave. All Might cleared his throat, knowing the men cared for Hecate all ready "Let's finish up here and we can go to the hospital to wait for her" He said turning back to the police. Aizawa and Hizashi exchange a look before returning to help All Might.

~Time Skip~

The hospital door opened as a doctor came out to the three men who immediately stood up upon seeing the doctor. "How is she?!" Hizashi asked quickly "Is she alive?" Aizawa asked in a calmer tone. The doctor nodded "Yes, she is alive. She lost quite a bit of blood as well as suffered some deep lacerations...but overall she is okay" she concluded (Ha! you thought the doctor was a man take that gender norms)

A nurse came and led the three men to Y/N's room. They walked into the room as silence fell upon them all. Hecate laid in the bed looking pale and small. Her suit was gone as her entire torso was wrapped in gauze. All Might looked down trying to suppress a tear, he never wanted to see her this way. Though they broke up years ago, he still deeply cared for her.

Hizashi walked over and gently held her hand "Y/N...I am so sorry..I should've taken the villans on myself.." he whispered solemnly. Aizawa frowned and sat down on the other side of Hecate and placed his hand on her leg lightly as he listened to Mic letting out his guilt. All Mightwatched the two questioningly, he knew that look, he had the same look when he first met her. 'They're both falling for her..' he thought.

After an hour the men were informed that visiting hours were over. The three said their goodbyes to the sleeping Hecate before walking back out. They walked outside the hospital "So..you two up for a drink?" All Might asked, his famous smile faltering. Aizawa nodded "Yes.." he said shoving his hands in his pocket. Mic nodded "Sounds good, but shouldn't you transform before we go?" he asked looking at All Might. He nodded and looked around before deeming it safe. He groaned as he returned to his normal state "Alright.. ready to go..".

The three men ended up drinking till 2 in the morning and all managed to get to All Might's house before passing out. It was obvious that they all had feelings towards this one girl..a wonderful, lovely, perfect girl.
