The sun was starting to rise while we drove through the suburban part of the city. "Someone showed me this on my first day and that's how they found their soulmate and many other of their friends." He explains before turning the exit and into a gravel road. He rounds the corner and the view of trees open up surrounding a lake. I gasp at the view and take in the beauty. The view, it's familiar but I don't know where I've seen it before. "It's like the suburb lake and mountains in Japan." He reminds me and brings me out on the cold sand, throwing over a blanket on the sand and gesturing me to sit next to him. He opens the basket to reveal two containers of strawberry milk and a covered tin of milk bread.

"Oh gosh! Where did you get these?"

"The Japanese market. I stocked up earlier this week." I nod and opened a bottle of strawberry milk. The bread was cold but I wasn't complaining. To say the least, Japanese style bread was better. "Sorry it's a bit cold but I think it's doable right?" I nod and took a bite out of it. We watched the sun rise as we ate peacefully. "Is this what you were thinking?"

"Nah I expected some weird shrine but I like this much better." Reaching for the last bread and splitting it in two. He takes the other piece and puts my head on his shoulder. "Don't you have like university or something?"

"No. I'm just here to train and possibly land myself on a team." He dusts the crumbs off his fingers. "What about you? Are you in university."

"Ya, at UTokyo but I took the year off to travel."

"So theoretically, I can join you tour the world-"

"You are welcome to join, but I don't expect you to."

"Whatever I'll still come along."

He got tickets that match up all my flights and managed to bump it all up to First Class. I forgot that he comes from a rich family. Not that I wasn't I just lived a simpler life style than him.

We boarded our plane and immediately fell asleep. I wonder if he's been sleeping well. I passed the time watching some anime and leeching off the services that came along with the tickets. (this is literally me!!)

We landed in Panama for a layover and it was a nightmare to wake up Oikawa. "No kisses for a month then. Miss! Can you help with my bag please-"

"Alright I'm up!"

He takes down our carry on bags and exited the plane. The layover was only for an hour so we raided the gift shop for some candy. This flight, we have someone accompanying us so there was no need to book a hotel since both Iwa and Mai were in summer vacation. I can't wait to see her and that ring I know she will show off.

It was about night time when we got to LAX and we could see Mai holding up a big white sign that says in screaming letters "y/n l/n and oikawa tooru"

"MAI!!!" I drop my suitcase and ran over to her. "I missed you! Also let me see that ring!" I pulled her hand and was amazed that the stone on her finger.

"It's beautiful. And he had the whole Disneyland park closed just to propose isn't that like insane?!" She rants on about her engagement, leaving Iwa and Oikawa to get our bags. "So, are you and Mr. Oikawa here by coincidence or is there something special going on." She pokes at me while we get in the car.

"Yea, we're dating again. And you won't believe what Rin did in Argentina. So basically..."

Our trip was now in Europe. In Paris specifically. We'd been running around the French city and tasting the best coffee of our lives. Well I was at least. Tooru still likes his extremely sweet. My hands were now freezing up as the night began to fall. We were back at the Eiffel Tower where it was now being lit up. I shivered in his arms, breathing on my hands to warm them up. He faces me and grabs my hands in his, warming them up with his hands and breathing. "Better?" I nod and he pulls away. "I actually have something for you." Pulling something out of his coat pocket and showing me a velvet box. He takes my hand and kisses it before getting down on his one knee. Is he seriously proposing?!

"No, I'm not proposing. I just wanted to see your reaction." He laughs and gets back up. I punch him in the arm softly and give him a disappointing look. He opens up the box and shows me the tiara shaped ring. It had diamonds just like a tiara where it would have diamonds and other jewels on them. "Spending these last few months with you, running around travelling the world made me realize something. That I'm happy anywhere I am. As long as I have you by my side, I'll always be home. So as of now, I'm giving you this. A promise ring. I promise that when the time comes, I'll replace it with an engagement ring and add on a beautiful wedding ring. And that I'll never let you go again. Never, not anymore." He takes the ring out of the box and examines my hands. "I think this will look beautiful. Right here." Pointing at my left ring finger, kissing the knuckle there before slipping it on. "Let's go back now since I'm freezing my nose off." Taking my hand in his and calling a taxi to take us back to our hotel room.
