a story in which 2 cast mates have an on screen relationship that is bound to turn into something more off screen ~
The last 2 weeks of filming were dedicated entirely to episode 6, and it was exhausting, so our producers are giving us a week off, which is much needed. Mary said we should take a little trip somewhere, and we all agreed. We decided to take a road trip to Malibu, girls in one car and boys in another. We were leaving at 10 tomorrow morning, so right now Peyton and I were hanging out in my room while I finished packing. She was laying on my bed as I picked out my outfits.
"So how's Jacob? I see you two have been spending quite a lot of time together recently." She said and wiggled her eyebrows. I smiled at the mention of his name. "He's good, and yeah we've hung out everyday since the concert." I said. "Oooooo!" She said, getting excited. "It's not like that." I said and laughed. "Addi, how much longer are you going to keep denying it?" Peyton asked. I jokingly looked at my wrist like I was wearing a watch and said "How much longer are we filming for?" She threw one of my throw pillows at me and we both laughed. "I'm serious though." She said. I just shrugged. "I don't know. I mean, he hasn't made any sort of move, I really don't know if he feels that way towards me. He probably just thinks of me as a friend." I said. "Was him asking you to go to the concert with him not a move?" Peyton asked. "I mean he never said it was a date, so no." I said
"Well, maybe this trip will be a good chance for you two to get to talk more about it, see where you both stand." Peyton said. "I don't even know where I stand to be completely honest." I said, knowing I was basically lying. I knew I had feelings for Jacob, but I still haven't said it out loud, and I don't want to until I know how he feels. "And that's fine. I know you two only met a few months ago, but me and everyone else can see and feel the chemistry between you guys. All I'm saying is don't be afraid to put your feelings out there, you never know what can come out of it." Peyton said. I smiled and nodded my head.
*THE NEXT MORNING*
Me, Peyton, Mary, Nicole and Hannah all piled into Mary's car and Xolo, Jacob, Tanner and Gianni all piled into Jacob's car as we all headed off to Malibu for a few days. I was so excited seeing as I've never been to Malibu before, and have always wanted to go. The ride wasn't long, only about 45 minutes, and we just talked and jammed to music as we drove.
My phone vibrated and I looked at it to see a text from Jacob.
jacob bertrand:

jacob bertrand:i got put in the passenger seat of my own car so xolo could drive my nice whip, there's a fire, the boys are annoying me with their singing, text me back plz i am v bored
I laughed at his text and responded.
addison young:not u getting kicked to the curb in your own car 😭 so sad, the girls car is bumpin' rn, you're missing out
jacob bertrand: f y'all for no invite then, i should've made u ride with us so u can keep me sane
addison young: hard pass on that one.we're almost there, hold on a little longer moskowitz
jacob bertrand: i'll try jones
Finally we arrived to Malibu and it was BEAUTIFUL! The sky was clear, the water was blue and it felt amazing outside. This was going to be a good week. We checked into our hotel and all went to our rooms to unwind a bit. The rooming situation was the same as in LA. Me and Peyton together and Mary, Hannah and Nicole together for the girls, and for the boys it was Jacob with Xolo and Tanner with Gianni. Jacob texted me asking what room I was in, so I texted him my room number. Minutes later there was a knock at our door, and before I could even open the door all the way Jacob was in the room. "AddithankgodpleasesavemefromthoseIDIOTS!" He said in one quick sentence. "Car ride was that bad huh?" I asked. He nodded his head and said "Believe me if you heard their singing, you'd know what I'm going through right now." I laughed and Peyton chimed in on our conversation. "Hey! Let Xolo sing in peace! You already didn't invite him to a concert with you..." She said. "Well that's because I found a new concert buddy!" Jacob said with a grin, putting his arm around me. A light blush began to appear on my cheeks as Peyton stood up and playfully rolled her eyes. "Y'all are cute, I'm heading to the other girls room, Addi meet me there when you're done!" Peyton said. I rolled my eyes and laughed at her comment and said okay.
"So what's up?" I said as Peyton left the room. "Nothing, just needed some Addi time after being trapped in the car with those hooligans." Jacob said as he sat down on my bed. My heart fluttered as he said "Addi time", and I felt my cheeks get hot. "Oh the car ride was barely an hour long!" I said. "You ride with them on the way back then, I will gladly take your spot in the fun car." He said. I laughed and grabbed my suitcase to start unpacking. "Anyways, you wanna do something tonight? We're all gonna get dinner together, but afterwards I was thinking you and I could maybe go to the beach or something?" I heard him say as I was putting stuff away in the bathroom. I could feel my heart speed up as he said it was just gonna be the two of us.
"Yeah that sounds like fun!" I said back, trying not to sound nervous. I was busy getting my makeup out to put some on for the day, and I didn't even notice when Jacob stepped into the bathroom with me. "You ever been night surfing Addi?" He said from behind me. I jumped back a bit, hitting his chest as his voice startled me. I put my hand on my chest and let out a breath. "Jacob you scared me! And no, I've never even been surfing." I said as I began to put makeup on. "Well then..." He began, and placed his hands on my shoulders, looking at my reflection in the mirror. "You're going to learn tonight. I'll see you later." He finished as he snaked one of his arms around my waist, giving me a quick squeeze before leaving my room.
I was left dumbstruck and smiling like a dope as he left the room. I was starting to think Peyton was right about everything she's been saying. I guess we'll see what tonight holds.
