ADDISON'S POV

The emotions running through me right now were wild. Excited. Nervous. Eager. Grateful. You name it. I'm currently on my flight to Los Angeles to start filming season 4 of 'Cobra Kai'. This is my first major acting role, and to say I'm nervous is an understatement. What if I'm terrible at acting? What if they regret casting me? What if the cast doesn't like me?  I tried to push every negative thought to the back of my mind and focus on how ecstatic I was to be in this situation. I am insanely lucky. 

I'll be playing a new character named Teagan Jones, who is Hawk's love interest in season 4. They have an enemy to lover type relationship, which I've always thought were really cute. While Hawk may be an asshole in the show, the actor who plays him seems nothing like that at all. Jacob's already reached out to me through Instagram dm's to introduce himself. He seems very nice and outgoing, and I'm really excited to meet the guy who I'll probably be spending most of my time with while filming. 

I kept myself occupied on my long flight as much as I could. I slept, I read, I listened to music, yotta yotta yotta. Finally, after what seemed like forever, I landed at LAX International Airport. After getting off the plane and getting all my bags, I called an Uber to take me to the apartment I'd be staying at while filming. I'm staying with Peyton List, who plays Tory on the show. I'm intimidated to meet her, as she's a big name actress who's been acting her whole life. She's way more ahead of the game than I am, but seems really nice so I'm excited for she and I to live together and get close. All the cast members have one or two other roommates they're staying with, and all our apartments are very close to each other, so I'm assuming we'll all be together all the time.

ADDISON'S POV

My heart began to race as the Uber pulled up to Peyton and I's apartment. I kept thinking what could happen if she didn't like me or we didn't get along, but my worries disappeared when I saw Peyton running out the door while I barely had one foot out of the car. 

"ADDISON!!!!" 

"PEYTON!!!!" 

We yelled, as we basically jumped into each other's arms. Forget what I said about us not getting along. I can already tell this girl is going to be my best friend. "I'm so happy you're finally here!! How was your flight?" She asked sweetly as she helped me with my bags. "It was good! Long, but worth it. I'm so excited to finally be here!" I said, trying to hide my nervousness. I thanked my Uber driver and we headed into the apartment. I was in awe as we walked in. It was nicer than I expected, and a lot bigger too. "Here, let me show you to your room!" She said. I smiled and followed her to a big room down the hall. It was very spacious and already fully furnished with a bathroom. 

Peyton and I talked non-stop as I unpacked my clothes into the dresser and put my toiletries in the bathroom. She was definitely as nice as I thought, probably even more. She was also really funny and easy to talk to. The more we talked the less intimidated I felt, she really was just a normal girl who just happens to be an amazing, successful actress. I was finishing putting stuff away when I heard our apartment door open. 

"Is there a miss Addison Young here?!" I heard from the door. I poked my head out of my room and saw Mary, Hannah and Nicole walking in. "HI!!" I yelled as I ran to them and gave them all a hug. "Sorry to barge in. We were going to wait till you told us you were done unpacking, but we couldn't wait to meet you!" Mary said. "Oh it's no problem! I'm just finishing up if you guys want to come in." I said sweetly. They closed the door behind them and followed me to my room. 

We all talked and I got to know them while I put the last of my things away. I already feel so comfortable around the girls and like I can talk to them with such ease. I was so excited for the friendships we were going to form. 

After I finished unpacking we all hopped in Mary's car and went to get dinner. We sat in the restaurant for 2 hours, talking, laughing and just getting to know each other. Obviously the three of them have been friends for a while now, but they were very inclusive of me. 

"Cheers to season 4 of Cobra Kai, the first day of filming tomorrow and our new friend, Addison Young!" Hannah said as she rose her glass of water up. "Cheers!" We all said in unison as we clinked our glasses together. 

Tonight was a blast, but tomorrow was the real deal. Time to get to work.
