"You know what I'm seriously scared to do? I'm seriously scared to catch feelings for anyone anymore. Because no matter how good it's going, or no matter how faithful the person is at the time. Whenever I get too attached, everything seems to go wrong. And I get left heartbroken and it makes me wonder if I'm good enough for anyone. And then I doubt myself, everytime"

"She hasn't spoken a single word since she's woken up. We've tried the nice act, the honest act and all that's left is trying to beat answers out of her but with the look in her eyes, I don't think that would even work .. it might just silence her even more" Erwin sighed in frustration, running a hand through his hair while he stood outside the small office they held the prisoner inside, she mostly still sat unbothered on the chair they placed her on once she woke up. Erwin was a tall man with broad shoulders and fair skin. Blonde hair and baby blue eyes, he was known for always wearing a emerald bolo tie.

"I think you may be correct over that one, she won't just open up with a little pain. Look at the deep wound under her eye, she's not bothered to take a beating, lose a lift or just lose her life. She's as bad as Levi but at least he works with us" Hanji frowned as she placed her hands on her hips, her eyes staring at the floor while Levi rolled his eyes from where he was leaning against the wall. Hanji was average height and fakir skin but she always had a bit of mud or grease on had face somewhere. Long messy dark brown hair she kept in a messy pony tail and she had light brown eyes always behind a pair of glasses or goggles.

"I think we're asking the wrong questions in the wrong way. She's loyal, just like one of us would be to the camp meaning she's not going to answer anything that put's the ones she loyal to in danger. We'll just how to put her own life in danger and she'll answer. Plus, a little bit of mutual respect might help as well" Levi spoke up as he pushed himself from the wall, his hands loosely holding a red scarf taken from their prisoner why she was sleeping. Just like they took all of her gear and changed her into a more simpler outfit to stop her from being any real danger to them.

"We tried giving her some respect but she stayed silent" Hanji shot back with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah but we're also been trying to figure out her orders, her people and her camp site. It's clear that she won't give them out and it's clear that she or her people don't want to be known by name otherwise they would wear their gang logo. They might be solo, just trying to live like we are" Levi sighed as he walked towards the door, stopping as Erwin stayed standing in front of the door, not moving.

"What's your plan? We've got to think smart about this because she may not speak a word to us but we'll be telling her so much. If she's sent from another gang as a spy, we've already gave her enough information by speaking our names, our gang and letting her be trapped inside our camp. We're the losing side of this battle" Erwin replied sternly, his arms crossed and he raised one of his inhuman bushy eyebrows.

"I'm winging it" Levi answered with a shrug, he wanted to know more about the women as much as his comrades. She held skills, held strength and was quick. She was as good as him and yet she seemed even more breath taking and dangerous. He wanted to learn every single thing about her but he knew it would take time and unlike his comrades, he could wait.

"Give him a chance, he's the one who faced her after all. Maybe she'll react to the one who took her down" Hanji spoke up, walking over and placing a hand on her lover's arm, giving him a reassuring look.

"Fine but she never leaves your line of sight or your squads if she leaves this room. I don't trust her and neither should anyone else .. she's too skilled for my liking and there's no way she was dressed to just be passing by" Erwin replied before stepping out of the way with Hanji.

"Understood" Levi sighed before placed his free hand on the doorknob and opening the door. Stepping inside with ease before closing the door behind and turning towards the women. She was still sat in the wooden chair, her hands tied by rope and resting on her lap leaving the old wooden table between her and the chair opposite her.

He stayed silent as he walked over to the chair, sitting down and neatly folding the scarf once more before playing it on the table, closer to him than her. Her eyes watching every moment, trying to get a read on him while she stayed silent as well.

"I know this means something to you and I'm willing to pass it over to you, all I ask is a name. Not your group, not your friends and not anything but your own first name. That's all I want in return, to know YOUR name, can we agree on that" Levi calmly spoke, his hand on top of the scarf while he kept his gaze locked to her own.

She gave a silent nod making him wonder if she was mute or something but he shook the thought away as she lifted her hands, showing her wrists still being tightly tied together. A red mark forming under the mark making him frown before he pushed himself to stand.

She stayed watching him as he walked towards her, lifting an eyebrow as he took her hands, lifting them a little higher before pulling out his kitchen knife from his boot.

"Don't tell eyebrows otherwise I'll take the scarf back" Levi muttered back as he wasn't meant to be carrying any weapons on his personnel, most so when dealing with a dangerous prisoner that could most likely kill half the camp.

She just gave another nod while he cut the rope, freeing her wrists and letting her rub the sourness away a little before he slid the knife back in his boot not caring if she knew where he kept it hidden. He had a feeling she won't just try grabbing it and killing him straight away, she was learning over him and everything around her.

She won't risk anything until she was certain of something and that meant he had time added to his life around her.

He soon sat down, pushing the scarf towards her to show he won't just yank it away once she spoke a name. He may be an asshole but he kept his word, he just hoped she did the same.

"Mikasa" She spoke in a cold but angel like voice, reaching for the scarf with care before placing it onw as he just stared at her surprised she actually gave her name.

He was expecting to argue with her or something, maybe even gain a fake name or two but she just went out and gave her name.

Maybe he was on the right path, maybe a mutual respect was all that was needed between her and them. To try and understand that she were here as herself not for who she followed under.

She was just Mikasa, nothing more and nothing less.

"Levi as I'm sure you already know" Levi spoke once more, she gave a softer nod this time showing she still remembered his name from when Armin called out to him before.

They both fell back into a content silence, a silent agreement between them both that they won't speak personal to one another and was just on equal footing. It was the best they were going and Levi could accept this game.

It worked in his favour, he got to watch over her and slowly learn about her why she got to do the same.

It would only end when she either escaped or he ended up killing her, otherwise they would be stuck together forever.

His eyes darted to the fresh cut under her right eye, a frown sitting on his lips over how deep it was and knowing it would soon scar after healing.

"It doesn't hurt and It was my choice to take the risk, never feel guilt over my own actions" She spoke once more surprising him, her eyes just staring at him like she knew what he was starting to think and feel.

"I don't make regrets" Levi answered and she gave an understanding nod.

"Neither will I" She added on, a slight smirk on her lips as he just stared at her, not helping the grin that grew on his lips.
