"Sakura." The pink-haired girl turned towards Sasuke, giving him a questioning look.

The boy fidgeted with his fingers for a bit, looking anywhere but at her. She watched as he sighed in frustration, before grabbing something out of his bag.

"This is for you." He said, shoving something towards her.

Sakura peered at the surprise gift, wondering what had come over the boy. "Sasuke, why are you giving me chocolate?"

"No reason, just felt like it I guess." He mumbled, before lightly grabbing her wrist and pulling her towards the school. If they continued standing around, he was sure they'd be late.

Sakura stared at the back of Sasuke's head, a sick feeling pooling in her stomach. She hoped Sasuke just chickened out of giving these to someone else, she hoped they were meant for someone else.

"It's Hanahaki, Naruto." Sakura said.

The boy who sat next to her turned, sucking in a breath. Both he and Sakura wished this wasn't true, that this wouldn't happen again.

"I tried getting him to call your aunt, i'm not sure if he has." Naruto replied.

"I'm scared she'd just laugh at him and call it karma." Sakura half-joked.

"This really went full circle, huh?"

Sakura nodded. "I'll call my aunt later, he'll be okay."

Sasuke felt like he was choking. He no longer coughed the petals up, there were simply so many that they spewed out like water. He fell to his knees, resting his head in his hands. After calling her office several times, and being turned away by her secretary on the basis that he needed psychiatric help, Sasuke chose to give up on Tsunade Senju's assistance.

His breathing was shallow, as sweat dripped down his forehead. He was now two months in. Sakura showed no signs of suddenly falling in love with him out of nowhere, and Sasuke no longer knew what to do.

"I'm sorry, Tsunade is currently bu-"

"Just give her the phone, woman!" Sakura shouted, her frustration reaching it's limit. She absolutely hated this temporary secretary, and missed Shizune more and more everyday.

"Just because you are family does not mean you have special privileges, please call back later." The woman responded curtly, ending the call. The girl silently cursed her aunt for giving this lady control over her personal and business contacts.

Sakura threw her phone down on her bed, angry tears pooling in her eyes.

Sasuke was her friend, of course she loved him. She knew, more than anyone though, that this type of love would not be enough to help him.
