Torvi's Point Of View
It's been a few weeks since Bjorn and mines wedding and our married life hasn't been much different from when we where dating we still lived together ,still did everything we did before but there is one thing that I have always done from a young age and that was to go for a walk around the village ever Monday morning.
I walked down to the dock and sat on it watching the water more in and out over and over again. Just as I was getting up my water broke of course it would break here instead of breaking in my home or with my husband near me but no and There is no way in hell that I'll be walking back up that hill so I started walking to Floki and my sisters house.
About half an hour I got to Helga's house to find her sitting out side watching the fish in the water.
"Helga care to help me out a bit you know seeing as my child is about to come out of me!" I said loud enough for her to turn around and see that I'm like two minutes away from pushing this baby out of me.
"Come on let's get you inside and get this baby out of you" she told me in her clam voice to the gods how I wish I could be as calm as her.
"Torvi your going to need to start pushing in about twenty or so minutes and Floki! Go back to the village and find Bjorn for me." She yelled but for some reason her voice was still calm.
"Okay I'll go and find him." Floki said back before walking out the door and back to the village.
Floki's Point Of View
I walked into the castle and streamed,
"BJORN IRONSIDE YOUR WIFE IS HAVING HER BABY AT MY HOUSE SO HURRY THE HELL UP!" I yelled and it was like he was as fast as thunder when it came to his family or Torvi but I would call Torvi, Bjorn's family.
We reached my house in ten minutes to hear Torvi's streams to the gods she is loud.
"Bjorn we are never having sex again do you hear me" that was the first thing that came out of Torvi's mouth when she saw us.
"Torvi I want you to push one last time okay." And then instead of Torvi's loud streams there was a little child streaming.
"Helga there's still one more coming" I said to her.
"How do you know that?" She asked.
"Because the Gods told me." I said. So Helga looked over Torvi one more time before nodding her head telling me that yes there was another baby on the way.
"Torvi I know I only said one more push but you have another child in you. So Torvi you need to push and if you do Bjorn and I will be so proud of you, can you push for us?" I told her knowing that this would be the only way to get Torvi though this was with the help of Bjorn.
"Bjorn give Floki your child and come help me with your wife." But before I even finished my sentence Bjorn was on our side of the room, pushing Torvi up and getting behind her.
Bjorn's Point Of View
The second that Helga said 'Bjorn give Floki," I knew that right now it was Torvi who needed me more and so that was what I'm going to do in every way that I can.
"Come on Torvi you just need to give me two more big pushes, grab Bjorn's hands and hold them as tight as you can and then push now come on and one more." Helga said looking at our joined hands before nodding at me, as if to say that now all we can do is let Torvi sleep while I look after our two new born children.
"Bjorn your oldest child is a son but you also have a daughter" Helga told me while I was laying on the floor with Torvi in my arms.
"Can you do me a favour and go look for my mother, brothers and could you send word to your brothers for us." I asked Helga feeling a little guilty that she's doing all of this stuff instead of myself but seeing as Torvi only just got to sleep there would only be three reasons that I move 1, if all of a sudden Kattegat was under attack. 2, if something happens with one of my siblings or parents and the 3rd reason would be if something was happening to my two little angels.
"I'll send word out for the two of you but only to my brothers for now then you can send for everyone else when the two of you are ready." She told me and this is why Helga is the best she just always knows what to say.
"Thank you Helga, for everything." I told her before she walked out.
Torvi's Point Of View
The Next Day...
I woke up to the sound of crying and the feeling of relief because I did it I didn't die and neither did my children and it looks like Bjorn and I where both right because we had a son and a daughter, we got a two for one deal. Looking around the room I released that I'm not in my own house but in my sisters house well more on my sister's couch with a blanket wrapped around me, I heard Bjorn's voice and it was if he was talking to our new born children, we both picked our favourite names just after I found out that I was with child, if we had a daughter then she would be named after Siggy and if we where to have a son then his name was to be Guthrum.
Slowly getting up from my place on the couch I walked over to Bjorn to she him holding Siggy he was telling her,
"I will always be your father and that means that I will always be doing what's best for you, but I will always protect you even if that means that I die to keep you and your brother safe and I would do anything to keep your mother at my side forever and always, no matter where we go." I always knew that Bjorn was going to be an over protective father but that proves that he cares. Then he started talking again but this time it was to Guthrum,
"I'm going to try and give you the most normal life that I possibly can, sure I'll teach you to be the next king for when you are needed but I will not let your childhood be taken away from you and I will always protect you or everyone else you and your sister have just become the two most important people in my life. I love you both with all my heart." And then Bjorn put Guthrum to bed beside an already sleeping Siggy.
