NYX

LAKE Como was a beautiful place. Waters that glistened under the sunlight, and lush greenery that spanned as far as the eye can see. They were currently on a boat, on their way to their final destination. And just like the train, they rode privately. Whether Elena owned both the train and the boat was still a mystery, though it was a big possibility.

Nyx spent the train ride with Libertus, where they heavily debated whether or not taking up Elena's offer was a good idea. Nyx stayed in a more positive light, insisting that they should take risks every once and a while. Libertus on the other hand was slightly more negative. He listed the possibilities of tagging along with a stranger, human trafficking being one of the things.

Nyx managed to convince him otherwise, though his friend still had a few suspicions about Elena. And like the friend he is, he jumped from worriedly questioning Nyx's rationality to endlessly teasing Nyx about his evident crush on the Italian. He even went as far as calling Crowe and Pelna, who were in a separate car, to gang up on him.

Despite being in the same area, Nyx barely got to speak with Elena. When he had nothing to do, she was speaking to the blonde that never seemed to leave her side. And when she wasn't busy, his friends demanded his full attention. To plan their trip ahead, they said.

Though he knew his friends well enough they were tormenting him from keeping him away from him.

Instead, Nyx watched from afar as she patiently waited for their arrival. She looked breathtaking under the Mediterranean sun, basking her in a heavenly glow. She was focused on the passing scenery, oblivious to his gaze. But as he was staring at her, a body blocked her from his gaze.

Nyx looked up only to see the blond, frowning at him. He raised an eyebrow at him, slightly irked by his intervention. Nyx still wasn't sure what his relationship was with Elena, but he was sure as hell they didn't have the same relationship as he did with Elena. Nyx looked away, tuning into the conversation with his friends.

"So what are we going to do when we arrive?" Crowe asked, looking at each of them as she awaited a response.

"I don't know what's there to do anyways?" Libertus said, as he turned his attention towards Nyx. He could hear the cogs turning in his friend's brain as he braced himself for whatever ridiculous thing he had to say. "Though I'm pretty sure Nyx will be doing Elena the whole time we're in Lake Como"

"Will you stop it? You three have already teased me enough" Nyx rolled his eyes, roughly shoving Libertus. His friend chuckled, shaking his head at Nyx as he gave him a teasing smile.

"What? Scared that your darling will overhear us?" Libertus taunted, raising his voice slightly. Nyx cursed at him, standing up to grab him. Libertus stood quickly running away from Nyx.

"We should rest for the rest of the day," Crowe said, unfazed with her friend's antics.

"Sounds like a good idea! Where are we staying?" Pelna agreed, nodding his head as he watched in amusement as his two friends chased each other around the boat. With the amount of disturbance they were causing, he was surprised that Elena or anyone didn't complain.

"Hang on, let me look up hotels in the area," Crowe said, pulling up her phone. She quickly tapped across her screen, scrolling a supposed list of hotels.

"Why are you looking it up on Google when we have a local right here?" Pelna said, a wide grin tugging at his lips as he nodded towards Elena. Nyx froze in his spot, shaking his head slightly.

"I don't think that's a good idea-"

"Well, if you aren't going to ask her, I will!" Libertus said, running under Nyx's arms and darted towards Elena.
