Leah POV

An older, teenaged boy walked in. He was about five feet tall with scruffy blonde hair, bluish-green eyes and wearing a green shirt with a green hoddie. His black, chained, skinny jeans and converse looked a little worm. His confident walk and well-toned body screamed ' athletic jock', however the Gameboy in his hands said otherwise. His attention was immediately on me. It was almost a glare.

He looked at me as if he already knew me, and to be honest he looks familiar. My mom was thankfully in the back stock room getting something while I narrowed my eyes at him. It was a bit fuzzy, but I knew I had seen him before. Like dejavu or something. Then, it struck me that I had seen this guy before.

I teased aggressively a little, now recognizing the would-be vandal from last night. He tensed as well when he realized that I recognized him. Great now I have a stalker or something. He walked up to the counter and leaned in kinda close, doing the motion for me to lean in and hear what he had to say. I leaned in and he pointed to my mother, who was kneading dough in the back on a small wooden table.

"What do you want?!" I whisper yelled. The nerve of this guy.

"Shh!! Do you WANT to let them know I'm here?!" he quietly, and frantically, tried to shush me.

"Why the hell should I? So you can go through my stuff again?!"I whisper yelled, slightly louder at him. He shot me a glare.

"Ugh...Look...If you don't want you mother over there to get hurt, I'd listen. As a matter of fact, it might be even better if we to leave so she can't hear any of this." His low whisper struck demand and urgency with every word. Crap, I can't get my mother involved in all this, she has no fighting skills whatsoever. Plus, even though I got in a few good hits, he totally owned me the last time I fought him, so I silently agreed to this for now. At least until he's far away from my mom, the only family I actually care about.

"Mom, me and... Jason are going to go for a walk." I said as casually as if I had known him a while.

"Ah-haaa, so THAT'S what had you completely distracted and off lately. Have fun with your boyfriend sweetie BUT NOT TOO MUCH FUN." She giggled a bit and continued to prep her next batch of what looked like braided French rolls.

I rolled my eyes when I left out the door behind 'Jason' and we stood next to the door. His Gameboy turned on and it glowed.

I literally blinked and I was in at home in the living room

I'll update again tomorrow. Sorry for the short chapters but I am on a tight schedule lol
