I reopened book one, because I want to make both of them parallel, but put the focus on Sam and Jeff, because I’m sure you guys want to know what they are doing. I’ll probably have to update a crap ton to catch both up. And I’m used to being up all night so why not? It’ll be fun.

-Lani, you guys better had read that or I’ll send LJ to haunt your dreams lol and DON’T. THINK. I. WON’T.

Leah POV

I was about to go talk to Ben, when we were interrupted by a loud crash coming from what sounded like windows breaking, and what looked like various humanoid figures. It look as if it were about 10 of them. All with masks, or some form of weapon. Others were just plain creepy. They shouted taunts to I’m assuming about me and Sam. I looked at Ben. He seemed fearful, as if he knew what was going on. He drew his sword and got ready for battle as well as the others.

“Give us the humans!” shouted a girl with all white skin and black eyes and she charges a Jeff.

“No fuggin way I’ve give you anything, stupid Bitch.” Jeff growled charging as well.

Before anyone could get to me, I was grabbed by a black tendril before I could charge into battle. The next thing I know I was in a lavish office with slender and Sam. He motioned us to sit in the super comfortable, leather chairs and took a long, agitated sigh, putting his hand on were his forehead would be.

“I’m getting a migraine at the level of stupidity on Jane’s behalf.” He leaned back into his chair a bit, and I felt like I was totally out of the loop.  Who is this Jane anyway, I thought to myself.

“My dear, she is the woman who is trying to kill you, and the creepy pasta she has with her wish for you, as well as Samantha to die, in addition to Jeff.” He said casually.

I had no idea what was going on, not to mention that I JUST got from being considered hit list material. I mean come on! It’s bad enough I had to fight over a ham sandwich the other day, but now you have other creepy pastas that want me dead just because I exist.  And right as if Slendy was listening to my thoughts, he began to tell me about talk to us.

(ben’s pov will be in book one, which is up.)

“I would like to inform you of why so many creepy pasta amateurs are out there. They see you two as mortals, which you are. And any mortal, under my protection or not, is fair game once outside this mansion. The irony, however, is that most of them were once human, and shed their humanity. You see, there are some of us, like myself out Rake, that were created long ago and we are very powerful. I am a demon I have never been mortal, however I used to protect children, until I was betrayed by mankind. Now their souls are payment” he said bitterly and then continued.

“We are created from woe, war and above all, human initiative. Some of us, like Jeffery or Benjamin, were created. This is done by someone writing about a new creepy pasta, and if it is good enough, a corresponding human will have the majority of that fate happen to them. They will have to meet the major criteria of the story, such as age general temperament, as well as sharing the same name as the story. Once a human is killed, Lord Zalgo will create them to be essentially a killer, though not all of us are. Man’s imagination, essentially, has created the many very beings that they fear.  And those new killers are called armatures until they can prove their worth to Zalgo, and to other creepy pastas as well.” He said straitening his tie.

“So, basically they just wanna fight you guys because you guys are the best of the best.” Sam blurted out.

“Exactly, and only the top 20 creepypastas can live in this mansion. And it appears that the others have dispatched of most of the amateurs. I must go now to attend to the souls of the weak. They will be most useful.” He said the last part ominously, teleporting away.

I think me and Sam shivered at the same time. His appetite is insatiable, how he can even control himself even a little amazes me. And we both got up and out the door to go check on Ben and Jeff. I followed slightly behind, and down the stairs and I looked to see if he was ok. He had only a few nicks and cuts, but other than that, he looked fine. I grabbed his hand without saying a word and dragged him up the stairs, once again getting whistles.

We had went into his room for privacy and he sat one the bed and patted for me to set next to him. The lights were dim in his room, enough to see the slight glowing of his eyes. I smiled slightly and he looked away. I tilted his head so he could look at me. What’s he have to be ashamed of? It’s a part of who he is, and he should be proud of being different. I like him just the way he is. Though at the same time I have other responsibilities. I closed my eyes and took a deep sigh much to his horror.

“Look, Ben, I like it here, but need to go home and to school tomorrow. I already missed Monday.” I said with all seriousness, He’s really growing on me. It’s like I don’t want to leave his side but at the same time I know I need to.

“First, answer me this…are you POSITIVE that you don’t have any urges at all? I don’t wanna lose you …” he said concerned, and pulled me down to kiss me. I was shocked and pulled away and stared at him surprised. My face was so hot, I think I could have fried an egg on it. I was so confused. He looked a confused to. I did like it though. It was gentle and warm, but I had never been kissed before.

“Um, sorry that was my first kiss…”I shuffled on the bed awkwardly.

His eyes widened as if he forgot that, and let out a nervous chuckle. “Oh, well, um er let’s see if taking you to your mom will be ok, but I’ll stick around in your phone, just in case.”

I nodded and in a flash we were in the living room coming out the TV. It was already late, but not late enough to for mom to be back. It’s kind of a good thing that she was always busy, because Monday is the day we get supplies so she would have been doing inventory until one am, and then Tuesday she has to get there early and leave at six am before I have to get up. So as long as she doesn’t ask too many questions, I should be scott-free.

Ben and I sat and watched TV while he was in his human form, which to be honest was not really different except his pants turned into black skinny jeans, his ears were not pointy, and his eyes were blueish green. We heard the door began to open and Ben disappeared into my phone just as mom came in. she went nuts and hugged me, and told me how much she missed me and that if I ever leave that long again that she was going to hunt me down and tie me to the couch. I ignored her warning and just gave her a smile.

I told her everything she wanted to hear about the imaginary camping trip and she seemed satisfied. There was allot of bad weather, so I was off the hook. However, I think I am missing something.

It feels like I don’t belong here…
