But anyway I’m rambling. Cx enjoy!!!!!

Leah POV

“Am I scared yet? More like, was I ready to kill whoever broke my laptop” I said to myself, grunting in frustration, and closing my laptop and tuning on the TV to watch something to stave off boredom until I it was time for bed. However, after I said that it’s almost as if the air in the room changed.  I couldn’t help but notice feeling watched and I’ll admit it did bother me, but at the same time I know I’m the only one in here so I’ll ignore it until I think that there is a threat. I’m the tallest, strongest person on this floor, maybe even the whole complex; no way and idiot would try to break in. I think….we don’t live in the best neighborhood. But still. Our apartment looks nice but everything in it is actually crap or is imitation to ‘look like we’re socialized’ as my mom would say. However, it’s still not worth stealing, just like everyone else’s stuff.  They would be wasting their time.

Once I rationalized away my silly thoughts of a break in, I began to relax, despite the watched feeling, which only seems to intensify as I flick the channels. I head a creak and a whispered swear. Now I was getting concerned, so I pick up my laptop and take it with me as I walk down the dark hallway to my room and I could almost swear saw a figure near my closet door. I turn on the lights and hurled my laptop right in the head of the would-be vandal.  It spun and smashed into a thousand pieces on the robber’s face as I bum rush him. He staggered and was slightly dazed but quickly coming to.  While he’s distracted and what looks like blood coming out his eyes, I’m guessing from the laptop, I punched him in the face and he didn’t flinch as he caught my fist... It was like he was a pro fighter.  He stood up confident and I could see is face. I kind of giggled, despite my situation. That’s just the person I am. Here it is, a strange man in my room going through my stuff and I’m laughing in his face, no doubt making him angry.

To be honest he looked like a Rice Crispies or Keebler Cookie elf with all that green on, and he had a silly fake sword. Who does he think he is a hero? But what made me laugh the most was that he was shorter than me. Maybe even shorter than the average girl. He growled almost like an animal when I started to full on laugh at him. What is this a joke? He’s got glowing red eyes and elf ears big deal, I could probably do that too with makeup and some contacts. I thought to myself, once again rationalizing my rational fear away.

“Let me guess, Josh sent you? Nice try pipsqueak, go home tell him nice try” I laughed harder, pushing away my denial that a demon is in my room and , disregarding the increasing, yet held back, grip on my arm. I turn to walk away and I am yanked down to his eye level.

“YOU SHOLDN’T HAVE DONE THAT” he yells demonically voiced in my ear, and I use his force to flip him, and stepped back, only to trip on a piece of my laptop while I try to run. The ONE time I need coordination.

I realized in that instant that he was incredibly strong for his size, it took literally all I had strength wise to do that. He got up like it was nothing while I staggered to get up. While I was struggling, He pinned me to that floor, putting his knees in my thighs and I couldn’t wiggle out of it. I got a much closer look at his eye too... the blood the glowing…they were real and that was the second time I ever freaked out.

“LEAH, WAKE UP I MADE PANCAKES BEFORE WORK” my mom yelled like any other Saturday.

I heard her and bolted awake in a cold sweat, confused as shit. My phone said that it was Saturday, and it was 8:02 am. The sun blinded me from the faded curtains and I slowly got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, and looked in the mirror I checked my arms and legs and I didn’t see any scratches or anything wrong. I ran to back to my room and quickly began to look for my laptop and it was there, under my pillow were is always is. It even had all the same programs and dates and all my old projects. It has to have been a dream I think.

But there is one thing that bothered me. On the floor under the window, most people wouldn’t even notice. I still saw one piece of plastic….
