The footprints made a U-turn, and looking up, he saw a few dots going up the mountain...

Akaman face went red, and his ears let out an angry steam.

He was wondering why he'd done all this useless work.

"Chasing the wind," he remembered his friend saying.

And, in the tiny ball, Akaman decided to go uphill...

"Ugh! Foolish hero! I refuse to rescued by an idiot!" a lady villager, he imagined, would later snap.

"Wait—what?"Akaman would be baffled.

"This is my moment to get a spouse, I think," she'd say. "Haven't you seen a classical book or film? And you... foolish snowman are not even lovely to look at!"

"Why thank you!" he'd nod aggressively. "Now excuse me, but I'd like to save your life, miss. We don't have the time..."

"Nah-uh!" And she'd fold her hands in stubbornness. "I'm waiting for my husband!"

And Akaman would roll his eyes.

The villagers were all annoying to be around, and this was what Akaman thought his crush would say.

He shook his head, rolled his sleeves up, and began the tedious journey up the very steep mountain.

He punctured two holes in the ball again, and through the broken parts, he trudged up the slow blizzard-ridden mountains...
