Chapter 9 : Part 1

Destiny's p.o.v

( couple of days later )

Me and corahn had been chilling for a while now and I'm really starting to like him. The past few days had been bliss with him I still don't know exactly what he's about but I'm getting there.

I sat on my bed with kitty talking and doing our nails. "so you wouldn't kiss a girl if a group of guys were cheering you on" she said surprised by my answer.

"it seems so cliche almost like I'm inna movie and I'm a white blonde" I said shrugging as I put my yellow nail polish on my big toe.

"you are never going to experience life then" she said shaking her head now and pointing the brush of the nail polish at me. "matter of fact your going to die old with cats" she said laughing as she finish putting her nail polish on pinky toe. I laughed too, this girl is crazy i don't know what makes her think these non-sense things.

"i will not die old with cats I don't even like cats" I said now finishing my toes.

"true" she said. Then she looked at me like a she came up with a idea pointing at me excitedly "actually you and corahn will die together , awww now that's something I see" she said jumping up and down on my bed.

I laughed "me and corahn together for ever, I don't even like him" I said smiling ear to ear lying through my own teeth.

She rolled her eyes at me responding "do not lie to me , girl I'm not stupid... What's up with you guys any ways why haven't y'all asked each other out yet".

I shrugged at her "he isn't feeling the same way i am ,I'm guessing" I said walking over to my phone which was on my computer desk.

"do you see the way he looks at you , I think you guys are both scared to get hurt when really both of you are made for each other" she said as I picked up my phone and I scrolled through the text till I saw one from corahn.

He was asking to chill but I was already chilling with kitty. I just replied with a I can't and went to sit with kitty on my bed.After a while I got bored so I stated "did you know he lives by himself" I said layig down and looking at the t.v as if I had no intreats in this conversation.

She turned towards me her mouth opened in shock "what ! Your kidding!" she said.

"I saw it and everything , it was nice really clean" I said not really phased by what I just said.

"thats it" she said getting up and getting my phone out of it's charger and took it back to the bed where we both sat .

"whatcha doing" I asked my eyebrow raised.

Ignoring me she put my phone in front of my face "you told him you can't chill" she then put it away from my face and frowned "is it because of me , you don't have to chill with me, go to him , matter a fact let me text him." she said as she started texting him.

Since kitty was my best friend I knew she wasn't going to do any crazy shit so I just sat back and waited to see what she was going to say after her little conversation with my man.... Wait he isn't my man he's just a friend.

I rolled my eyes at my self , I shouldn't be fixed up on corahn but then I can't help it. He's so different but then again aren't they all. I sighed as I got up and went to my bathroom to take a short pee. When I came back kitty was smiling ear to ear looking at me.

"what did you do?" I asked putting my weight on one foot and crossing my arms.

"oh nothing much" she she said shrugging and getting off my bed and walking into my walking in closet and bringing back a overnight bag that I used to sleep when ever I sent a night at people's homes now i was raising my eyebrows with even more suspicion.

"you just may be sleeping over his house" she said as she took two outfits out the closet and laid one on my bed and put one in the overnight bag.

I shook my head "no,no,no,no" i said walking back and forth across my room holding my head.

She sighed "relax it's just a night"she said crossing her arms like I was over-exaggerating.

"relax!" I nearly screamed "you know how much trouble I'm could get in , I'll be dead if my parents find , shoot they never let me out this house" I said pissed. Rolling her eyes she grabbed my hand leading me to my living room where my mom and dad sat.

She put on the most innocent smile ever. "hey moma and dadda" that's what kitty called my parents because me and her family was close.

"hey sweetie" my mom said smiling and looking up at her.

"what up"my dad said trying to be cool.

"I was just wondering if destiny can spend the night at my house" she said still looking like a angel.

"i don't see why not" my dad of all people said falling for kitty's tricks.

Kitty then smiled "thanks" she said not giving me time to tell my parents what she was up to.

She smiled at me "thank me now , or later".

I gave her a stank face "how about never !" I said. She laughed at me . How did my parents fall for this they might as well set me up for doom. A night at a boys House at my age damn. That's some crazy shit......

Corahns p.o.v

( 1 hour later )

I heard a knock on my door so I got off the couch lazily it was 6:00 at night now and I knew exactly who it was. I opened it to see destiny standing there looking upset. I rose my eyebrows at her "you okay?" I asked her.

She sighed walking into my apartment. "I'm fine just a little hungry" she said I nodded.

"just wait a few minutes and I'll cook you something up" i said to her waiting for her to nod and she did with a little smile,

I grabbed her over night bag....
