Chapter 46: The end

Destiny's p.o.v

When I got out the shower I walked to the sink plugging in my blow-dryer. I tried to ignore the other half of the sink that held corahns bathroom needs. My mom came into the bathroom and her face held the frown that she had from earlier. "do you want me to take his things out" she asked and I sighed.

"mom I'd like to not talk about anything please" I said just below a whisper but enough for her to hear me. She nodded and looked at me a little longer a look of desire crossed her face but I ignored it. I know today will be the day of constant I'm sorry's from people who just feel bad for me.

As I finished drying my hair I walked into my closet and pulled out my black dress that I've never worn, I smiled remembering when I had bought the dress with corahn. Me and corahn were about to leave lord and Taylor's when my eyes feel upon this dress. It was a off the shoulder u-neck dress and it fit me like a glove it stopped just above the knee giving me a nice business look. I put it on managing to pull he zipper on with no help. I then continued with my hair straightening it.

I hadn't noticed till now that my hair had grown it now laid perfectly in the middle of my back. I smiled at this I kept my hair curly for so long. 

I walked over to my vanity and opened my jewelry box. I put on my favorite tennis bracelet which had been the diamond one corahn had bought me and to diamond earring that had also been from corahn. I then put on my ray-bans sunglasses and pulled out my light red lipstick and put it on my lips.

I looked myself in the mirror a smile refusing to form on my lips I did look amazing but this it just all seem wrong. I never imagined myself getting dressed for a funeral shit i never imagined myself getting dressed for my fiances funeral. I could already feel my eyes begin to water this was too much for me.

I shut my eyes counting to ten, I wont cry at least not yet. 

I then walked back into my closet putting on my black stilettos and black leather gloves I grabbed a hold of my black hand held purse and decided to put my black church hat on. I heard my house bell ring I walked all the way to the door opening it to see kitty.  

She looked nice with a black dress that had a v-cut and some black wedges. "you look stunning she said without a smile.

"thank you" I said silently as I let her in closing the door. I walked back to my room her following behind silently as we walked back in i began to put my needed materials in my purse.

"I'm sorry I didn't spend long in the hospital I really am" she said and I could hear the guilt in her voice.

I bent my head a little more so that my hair was covering my face. "its alright" I said silently as I continued to do who knows what.

"destiny..."you can talk to me you know that" she said and I took a deep breath in.

"of course" I said as my eyes grew watery.

I felt her move on the bed so she was staring at me. "destiny" she said for me to look at her but i didn't budge.

"destiny please talk to me" she said her voice strained. I shook my head I could feel the tears coming, threatening to come out. She grab held of my hand turning me to her, thank god I had my glasses still on. She looked in my eyes but i looked elsewhere. No No No she grabbed my glasses pulling them off of my face along with my hat.

Tears strolled down my face as her eyes went straight through mine feeling all the pain and hurt inside me. she pulled me into a hug and I sobbed softly on her shoulder.                                          

"why do bad things happen to good people" I cried and she shook her head. 

"i don't know hunny I don't know" she said as her embrace tightened around me. After I managed to let enough out I walked to the bathroom grabbing a tissue and wiping my eyes. I then walked out the room to kitty who had also been wiping her eyes.
