Chapter 45: Finally part 2

Corahn's p.o.v




I woke up with my stomach growling. I looked around to see that I was still on the pool lounge chair. As I got up I groaned. I hardly got any sleep with this hard ass chair and destiny on my mind. As I got up off the lounge I saw sierra exiting the house coming towards me.




"You okay" she said her words kind but i didn't need that.




"what time is it?" I asked ignoring her question because even I don't know how I'm feeling.




"its 9 in the morning" she said. "We made you food, I know you must be starved." she said and Ignored her once again.




"did you guys finish tracing the number yet?" I asked and she sighed.




"corahn can you just eat first,then everyone will tell you whats going on" she said and I rolled my eyes walking around her into the house.




She grabbed my arm turning me around. "Please...destiny wouldn't want you finding her on an empty stomach" she said softly and that hit home right there.




"fine i'll eat" I said my voice firm and she gave me a sincere smile as I turned back around and went to the bathroom first brushing my teeth and washing my face.




As I splashed the water on my face I looked into the mirror and looked at myself.




How will destiny ever forgive me for all of this.




I put her in all of this shit and now shes actually paying for what I did, I should be the one kidnapped right now not her.




"Shes going to hate me" I said to myself before a knock interrupted me.




"Corahn you okay" I heard Sierra's voice and I sighed taking a towel and quickly wiping my face before opening the door.




"yeah Im ight" I said and she gave me an unsure face.




"okay well come on" she said walking towards the kitchen me following behind her.




As we reached the kitchen I saw this girl cooking a meal. She looked familiar extremely familiar.




"what are you doing maria" sierra asked with attitude. I guess maria is her name.




"I hope you don't mind but I kinda got hungry and decided to cook up a meal" she said with a smile and sierra rolled her eyes.




"corahn you can sit there" she said pointing to the table. As I walked to the table I could see maria looking at me intensely like she knew the name. I looked back at her and our eyes interlocked I don't know what i was feeling when this happened but it wasn't a good one.She quickly moved her eyes back to the pan she had been baking her eggs on.




Sierra walked over to me putting a plate full of pancakes and eggs in front of me it was until then I realized how hungry I was. As I began to eat I could still see maria glancing at me every now and then. When she finished her food she put it on a plate then came over to the table she sat down the food across from me.
